Hike through a lovely pine forest, enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters of a secluded beach far from the city noise and taste some real local food made by vegetables cultivated at the farm right next to your table. What more to ask if you want to get a real feeling of the Greek summer on the island? Kritinia village is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in Rhodes, standing on a pine-grown hill on the north-western coast with a great panoramic view to the sea. Enjoy a pleasant and rejuvenating walk through the pinewoods until you reach the secluded beach of Glyfada with the white pebbles and the turquoise waters. By the sea, Savvas offers good food at his traditional tavern using vegetables that cultivates himself next to the tavern. This all day trip includes hotel pick up and drop off.

Know More about this tour

Meet your guide at your hotel to pick you up by a comfy air-conditioned vehicle early in the morning (at around 8am). The adventure begins outside Kritinia village, one of the most unspoiled villages in Rhodes. Walk through rich pinewoods until the islands of Alimia and Chalki show up in the horizon, the perfect set up to have a small break, drink some water and enjoy a local snack for extra energy. Do not forget to capture the view! After about two hours of hiking, you reach the secluded pebble beach named Glyfada with the turquoise water, where you have the choice to swim. Glyfada beach is surrounded by a unique physical scenery with many pine trees that reflect on the water and make it look like green. It is ideal for those who want to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sun peacefully in an unspoiled environment.
Mr. Savvas offers some very good food at his traditional tavern using vegetables that cultivates himself next to the tavern. After a nice meal by the sea, the hiking trip comes to end and you are back to the hotel at around 4pm.
