This is a cycling guided tour in which participants ride an electric bicycle and hear the story of the reconstruction of the bombed heritage sites and how we are trying to protect peace in the city of Hiroshima. The tour is led by a friendly team from Hiroshima.
Highlights
Learn about local feelings towards the Peace Park from about 70 years ago.
The area within a 2.5km radius from the hypocenter was severely damaged. We are heading to multiple bombed heritage sites that still remain.
You will ride a comfortable electric bicycle to the local area, which is not only known for the Hiroshima Peace Museum.
We will take you to unique places well-known by the local Japanese team.
We will ride along the beautiful riverside and in the park to get an idea of the destruction of Hiroshima at that time and how it has changed into what it is now.

If you are late for the meeting time without prior notice, the tour will be cancelled. In such cases, a 100% cancellation fee will be incurred on the day of the tour and is non-refundable.

Walk around the site with a radius of about 0.5 km to 1 km.

広島市は何度も訪れていますが、今回のツア ーではこれまで知らなかった広島の「物語」 を体感する事ができました。 なぜ広島という地名なのか、なぜ原爆がこの 地に投下されたのか、そしてどのような明る い未来を思い描き進んでいるのか。ガイドさ んのストーリーテリングが素晴らしかったで す。 原爆の悲惨さという事実を詳しく知ると言う よりは、戦前→戦中→戦後→未来と時間軸を 巡るように街の変化を感じ取る事が出来て、 ツアー後の余韻はとてもポジティブでした。 広島を訪れて「戦争の話でどんより精神的に ダウンしたくないけど、ある程度は知りたい 」という方いると思います。私もそうでした 。そんな方きは特にオススメですよ。テーマ は戦争ですが、明るい未来を感じて終わる映 画みたいなツアーです。 自転車もEバイクなのでそれほど疲れる事も く快適でした。徒歩でもバスでもなく、自 車だからまちに点在するストーリーを効果 に繋ぐ事ができ、満足度が高いと感じまし 。ルート設計が抜群でしたね。

I can’t say enough about this one experience. It was so humbling and powerful to be guided by a local with family who are direct survivors of the atomic bomb. Our guide Shin was very informed, passionate, funny, and caring and he did such a good job of making sure we were informed and involved. Thank you shin! This tour was worth 5x what we paid for it. Thank you again for an experience we will never forget!

The bike tour was very informative and we went to spots that we wouldn’t have visited otherwise. We learned a lot from the stories of our tour guide’s family’s experiences as atomic bomb survivors. The route we took was flat and we had electric bikes, which made the ride easy.
