A UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, the Lisbon district of Belm is know for its Manueline, or Portuguese late Gothic, architecture. The neighborhood is also full of museums with collections of contemporary art, venues for music and theatre performances, and painting and photography exhibitions.
Hop on a tram with the guide. After a 20-minute ride, arrive in Belm at the Monastery and Church of Jernimos. Inside the church, see the tombs of the famous Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama and the poet Cames, along with other historical figures.
