  • Our guide Andrea was extremely knowledgeable about the area and all the restaurants we visited. We enjoyed that many of the places we ate at were family run with a family story. A highly recommended tour!

  • The neighborhood, also known as Nordeast has a great selection of cuisine. All restaurants were perfectly curated and top notch. The highlight of the tour was the tour guide who is passionate about both food and her hometown of Minneapolis. We take a food tour in every city we visit and she is the best we've seen. She also conducts a food tour of St. Paul that we will check out next time.

There are two food tour companies with similar sounding names. One is helpful and answers the phone, the other does not. The other food tour company not this one took us to the Old Spaghetti Factory which has close to 45 locations in the United States. We couldn't believe they took us to a chain restaurant....we were truly in shock. Before booking your food tour make sure you call both companies and see if they are taking you to local restaurants or chain restaurants that you could go to at home. Do your research ahead of time, we wish someone would have warned us....we threw 90.00 out the window to eat at a chain restaurant.

  • Rebecca was our travel guide and she was excellent! Not only did she know the history of each restaurant she was able to add fascinating information about the restaurants and the area that surrounded each restaurant. If you are afraid you will only have a small bite of food from each restaurant don't worry you will definitely get a good size portion of food to sample at each restaurant. My husband and I love to eat and we were full after the third restaurant and definitely our stomachs were crying for mercy by the the sixth restaurant This tour is great not only for the local cuisine, but the history that surrounds the area. The tour is well worth the money.

  • My husband and I had a great time on the tour. There was a fun variety of ethnic foods, Polish, Italian and Indian that was sooo delicious. The history of the reataurants and Minneapolis was so interesting and the group was fun. Our guide was amazing and we could tell she loved history. I would highly recommend this tour for a fun way to explore, eat and learn about an area.

  • We were fortunate to have a smaller group 5 adults which made the whole day much more personalized by our guide, Becca. She did a great job and really made the whole afternoon fly by. She has an obvious passion for the history and food, and we noticed that each establishment treated her and us with great respect. Each restaurant was ready when we arrived, nothing had to be said or done, and the samples were great and ample. Good food simply arrived at each reserved place setting. Worth the money and request Becca. One more thing...go to the tour hungry. Do not eat anything before this tour because you will be stuffed at the end.

  • This is a great tour of the neighborhood with good food variation. I know it doesn't give specifics on where you will eat, but on our tour, we had Polish food, gelato, pizza, cheeses, Nepali food and ended with Greek desserts. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the area and the restaurants which we visited. This was an excellent value and a great way to spend part of the afternoon.

  • Our tour guide, Becca ? was very knowledgeable and engaging. She seemed to love food, history, and people--perfect for a food tour guide! The food was good, some better than others. But, in each place there were nuggets of interesting history. Time went by fast, and we got some exercise walking around but were filled with appetizer amounts of food at each of the six places.

  • Our tour guide was informative, and was energized by the areas history. She was wonderful. The restaurants chosen were delicious. Glad we did this.
