Great tour of Ybor City and Cindy was an excellent guide. Interesting history and great food. Would highly recommend the tour!
The history was amazing and we loved trying all kinds of different foods :) Recommend to all - very interesting.
Group of three who experienced the historic food and walking tour. We toured with Kristy and she was so knowledgeable and really tailored to all of our questions. The food was amazing as were the stories. It made my holiday so much more enjoyable and enjoyed by all.
Kristi was fun and knowledgeable. Ybor was a great place to visit with a lot of history and good food. Perfect way to spend the afternoon.
Loved this tour! So much fun to have great food, drinks and learn about the history of this town. Really glad we had Kristy lead and show us around. Definitely worth doing if you are visiting.
This tour was a great experience for anyone visiting the area. It was great to learn the history of the area and how it shapes the culture to this day. The food was very delicious! Cindy was very knowledgeable and was a great tour guide.
Kristie did a great job of merging the history with wonderful food stops. The food and history were well paced. The sample sizes allowed to really enjoy the foods without feeling stuffed.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this walking and eating tour of Ybor City. Our guide, Christy, I hope I spelled that right, was one of the best tour guides we have ever been with. She helped us learn about the history of cigar making in the area as we visited many of the historic buildings and social clubs that were built to specifically care for the cigar factory workers. Oh wait, this was a food tour. The focus was on the different ethnic groups that brought their cuisine to the US. The food was all great and I really did have the best Cuban sandwich, which our tour guide promised. It was a relaxing afternoon and we didn’t need to eat dinner. You even get a free hand rolled cigar and an incredible Cuban coffee (or hot chocolate) at the end. Also do what we did as well and stop at Zydeco for a great craft beer when you finish. Also look for the chickens!
We had a great time with Cindy on our food tour of Ybor City. We had not been aware of the diversity of the neighborhood and the different cuisines present here (Cuban, German, Italian). Cindy shared lots of great information about the history of Ybor City and showed us a number of historic buildings and locations. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get to know Ybor City.
Oh! So yummy and fun! Great food, but better time talking and learning about this great city. Kristie really knew her stuff!
