Overview
When you close your eyes and think of London not much else epitomises the greatest City on earth more than a London Black Taxi and an English Pub!
So why not combine the two? Sit back and take a fun tour of London with a real Londoner safely escorting, entertaining and educating you through the historical streets and buildings of the magnificent capital we call home.
Stop off in at least 3 Historical Pubs to sample the beer, wine or non alcoholic beverages (like the driver!) whilst enjoying tales and stories of historical events and characters that have enjoyed the very same pub you are sitting in.
It may be a legendary pirate tale, famous patrons, political event or a lovers tryst. Each and every Pub stop will have something unique and absorbing to tell, almost as if you had been sent back in time. You can marvel at the Olde English interiors and sample the atmosphere of our Inns, Taverns and Gin Palaces from the comfort of a mahogany chair.
All pubs are child friendly and accessible.

Barry is. Great guide: funny, knowledgeable and fun to drive around London with. We spent enough time in each pub to learn the history and savor the fact that we would not have found a quarters of these jewels in their own. Nor known their significance.

In looking at pub tour options, this trip was definitely the high end price point. We were pleasantly surprised and rate this as 1 of our top tours, ever. We did not want a drinking pub tour with 20 people. Our time was limited so we wanted small group size. Antony picked us up from our hotel in his Black cab and immediately surprised us with his total dedication to making our tour fit our needs in terms of what we wanted as well as the time frame. For 6 hours we toured around London learning about the history of the pubs, some tales about neighborhoods and of course enjoying some 1/2 pints (needed to pace ourselves). We learned about over 20 pubs! Some we looked into, some we drove by and several we enjoyed a beer and a tour. If you are looking to just drink pints, go with the larger group tours, you will be satiated. If you want a more educational, personable tour, you will not be disappointed with London Pubs, Beers- Private Black Taxi Tour-your money will be well spent and your tour memorable.

This was the best tour my fiance & I had ever experienced. Peter is the true Gem of London. He is so informative & has a beautiful genuine soul. He made our overall vacation in London incredible. I consider Peter more than just a tour guide, I consider him family now. We were so moved during this tour, it was truly beautiful. I recommend anyone taking a trip to London to request Peter. He really knows how to design a special tour about where your history originated from.
