Know More about this tour

Your morning sightseeing tour of central Hobart takes in all the sights, including the Georgian warehouses lining Salamanca Place, the Victoria and Constitution docks on the waterfront, the charming houses of Battery Point and the beautifully landscaped Royal Tasmania Botanical Gardens. The tour also highlights Hobarts grand 19th-century buildings, including Parliament House, St Davids Cathedral, the Treasury Building, GPO and town hall, Queens Domain and Government House.
See the lovely Georgian St Georges Church, and take in views along the coast to Wrest Point Casino and exclusive Sandy Bay. Stop at Anglesea Barracks and visit south Hobart at the foot of Mt Wellington. Also see Cascade Brewerys gardens and grand old building, and the ruins of the Female Factory, once used as a female prison.
Cross the Tasman Bridge over the Derwent River and take in views over Kangaroo Bay Marina and Bellerive. The tour also stops at Rosny Hill lookout for stunning views over Hobart, Sandy Bay, Mt Wellington, the Tasman Bridge and Glenorchy.
Your morning visit to MONA starts with a scenic ferry ride along the Derwent River. Arriving by boat is essential to the MONA experience, underscoring the impression that you are visiting a very special place.
Admire MONAs cutting-edge complex of modern buildings on your approach to the museum's entrance, then lose yourself in Australias largest privately funded gallery of ancient and modern artworks, collected and exhibited by Tasmanian-born entrepreneur David Walsh.
From mixed-media installations to 3D sculptures and ancient mummies, get ready to be enthralled, inspired and sometimes confronted by this collection exploring the inner recesses of the human experience and psyche.
While touring the collections, you can learn more about the exhibits via a hand-held touch-screen device, and interact by recording your own impressions and responses.
The collection is vast, so relax while youre at MONA by visiting the museums restaurant, cafe or wine bar, with its cellar door highlighting the region's local wines (own expense).

  • Staff were great, sight seeing tour was ok but raining so missed out on Cascade Gardens and got wet at the Botanical Gardens. View from lookout was amazing but very chilly. Mona Ferry was excellent and the Museum very interesting only you could not take you bag or water, got a good workout as the lift did not work and hundreds of steps.

  • Nice overall tour of the town.Beautiful in every respect. Got an idea of the various neighborhoods and part of the history. The highlight of the tour was the visit to Mona museum. 4 hours spent there were not enough . The museum is a must for every visitor although some may not like part of the exhibits. Hobart was a big surprise and I wish I could visit the place again.

  • Very nice tour of Hobart! Saw a good sampling of the various types of homes in Hobart. The tour was just the right length and covered a variety of scenic and noteworthy spots. Very enjoyable and informative. Our tour guide was excellent and helped make the tour comfortable and relaxing for us. I'd recommend this tour to others.

  • Great tour except for having to wait for the usual slow inconsiderant people who appear on most tours. The driver was awesome. The Musuem was amazing. I'm just not a big fan of organised tours because I have to deal with stupid inconsiderate people :-

  • Zorren has done a great job to show us around the city and some of the top spots. The cruise to and from MONA is good. Some interesting and unique settings within the museum.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • great city tour to give me first hand information of this beautiful city. The driver Jim is excellent. He told me the products in female factory is the cheapest compare with other gift shops. I regret I didn't buy more. I found the same products sold in airport is double in price.

  • Amazing well worth going ,need at least 4 hours at the art exhibitions.

  • enjoyed thoroughly

  • Overall, this was a good tour. However, Hobart itself is somewhat small. MONA itself is worth the price. Great ferry ride to MONA.
