We had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Paul, was wonderful, considerate and entertaining. The sights were amazing to see and visit.

The bus was new and comfortable, the guide was informative.
The Alnwick Castle is wonderful, but maybe 3 hours is much for see it.
Unfortunately we havn't enough time for visit the Lindisfarne Castle because it is 1,3 km from the Lindisfarne Abbey and need to go there by walk. We had only one hour for go up to the castle, look around, and come back to bus after watched the abbey.
Maybe it would have been more efficient don't stop for 30 minute at a lake where was nothing interesting only ducks and of cours souvenir shops.
I came to Scotland for see the castles and old stones, not the ducks and the souvenir shops what are only waste time and money.

Very good whole day tour with stops along the way. Experienced driver and tour guide with good knowledge of the area.

Lindisfarne was beautiful, but Alnwick Castle was like a theme park, with cartoons and children's activities and ceramic giants. It must be fun for families with small children, but as an adult, I found the 2 1/2 visit much too long. I was also very disappointed that the visit to the Flodden battlefield advertised in the tour description wasn't possible because so many people had signed up for the tour that they needed a large bus that couldn't access the site. I wish I'd known that in advance. The tour guide, Andrew, was very good, friendly, and informative.

We had a fantastic day tour through Timberbush Tours with our driver/guide Andrew T. Andrew took us to Holy Island and Alnwick Castle along with a stop at Hirsel Estate on the way back to Edinburgh. He was an excellent guide full of interesting facts along the way as well as humor and even provided some Borders music for us to listen to. The trip was well worth the money spent and we even got discounted tickets at Alnwick courtesy of Timberbush. It was well planned and there was plenty of time at all of the sites we stopped at. I would highly recommend Timberbush Tours and Andrew T to others, and would definitely book another tour through them in the future.

David W. took us on an amazing tour to the Holy Island and Alnwick Castle! He was friendly, informative, lively, and funny. The Holy Island is a must see, we were very lucky to have a beautiful sunny day, and we could have stayed there all day! We then headed to Alnwick Castlet, David made sure we all got our tour group discount and then set us free to do what we liked. We went into the town to grab some lunch and walk around there for a bit, then back to the castle. The grounds are fantastic, we found so many different little paths that opened up to views of the castle. This tour is full of incredible history and magical scenery. We would highly recommend it and David W. as your guide.

It was a completely different excursion specially referring to Holy Island. The Alnwick Castle was amazing.

Great tour but I felt super rushed. Alnwick castle was amazing but sooo crowded it made it fairly difficult to move through. Wish we had been able to spend more time on Holy Island but is was so brief.
