  • If you have spare time in Hong Kong, don't waste it going to Disney, if you have been to the theme parks in Australia you would be disappointed with the Hong Kong Disney.

  • A quick and comfortable ride in a clean vehicle from our hotel pickup at The Mira whisked us quickly to Hong Kong's Disneyland. When we arrived, the driver explained how to get back to the city using the excellent MTR train before he showed us where to go before leaving us. We spent an enjoyable day with a fellow traveller, Mike, visiting similar rides to those I had previously taken at Disneyland in Anaheim. We visited HKD on a Monday, arriving just after opening time and the park was not crowded although it filled up later in the day as we were leaving. We walked up Main Street towards Sleeping Beauty's castle and then to Adventureland, while most others went towards Tomorrowland, so our rides were not so crowded.
Highlights not to be missed included the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars which travel forwards and backwards. The jungle cruise was fun, especially as it was through a jungle, similar to what is found locally in less-builtup areas around Hong Kong. Mystic Mansion which was similar to DA's Haunted Mansion was excellent and should not be missed. We really enjoyed the special affects! Hyper Space Mountain's ride in the dark was awesome, especially as it featured a Star Wars theme throughout, along with laser blasts and accompanying music track. The line was longest here. We waited in line for about 30 minutes but we kept moving. Disappointingly the introductory videos while waiting could have been better unlike the waiting/walkthrough line for the new Iron Man experience which was excellent. It had 3d models and lots of artwork to look at while waiting for the ride which was an imaginary flyover experience across the Hong Kong of the future.
Perhaps more Disney themed music could have been used to add to the overall experience.
Not as big as the original but nevertheless, HKD is great place to visit. Bring a camera as there are photo opportunities everywhere! Highly recommended!

  • If you have been to other Disney's in the world this one will be a disappointment. Think small, the park itself is small, the rides are pretty disappointing even the castle is much smaller than America or Paris. The Evening fireworks are worth hanging round for but expect to be pushed about abit for a space to watch them.

  • An amazing tour that we highly recommend. We can not fault the service provided by the tour operators and tour guide. Thank you!

  • We were taken to Disneyland via a Taxi included in voucher which was fine.
Taken to the entry and offered some advice and further directions.
Our tickets were also purchased for our return via train which was very simple.
Busy day trying to fit all activities in.

  • Very good. Only downside was they only pick up from a small selection of hotels so you have to find your way to a different hotel which is a pain.

  • Hong Kong Disneyland was a lot of fun. They have different rides than we do in the States. The park was not very crowded. It is easy to get to and from via MTR.subway

  • Not very impressed

  • Go early and use the Tube train Metro. Fit in all the rides and do not miss the parade down Main Street. if you can stay and see the parade at night time when it is spectacular and very enjoyable. Wear comfortable shoes and you MUST take a camera. The park is clean, mechanically sound well laid out and not cramped. Does not matter your age GO VISIT HONG KONG DISNEY.
