Great excursion from Las Vegas I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to see this engineering marvel. And today you actually get to see 2 for the price of one as the Hoover Dam and the bypass bridge.
I have paperwork indicating that our tour start time was 1:30pm with pick-up.
Viator claims/claimed it was for 12:30. Thus, we were a no show. We were
ready for pick-up at 1pm, 30 minutes before our paperwork indicated. When
Viator was contacted, they refused a refund claiming we were in the wrong.
Excellent explanation of Hoover Dam all the way, enough time to see everything and Tony was just the best
So informative and fun! Would definitely do again! The tour was very nice and the views were incredible. So much history
Great Tour!!! Super comfy bus and smooth ride. It was my first time seeing the Hover Dam and it was something I will never forget. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t wait to go back.
Very fair price and organize and also thanks to miss haly for a pleasant drive To Hoover dam.
I took the private limousine van and it was terrific.
Afterwards we felt that we could have fitted the Hoover Dam tour in with the Grand canyon tour , as it was on the way. After touring the " inner workings" of the Dam we were dropped off at a local Hotel/ casino for 2 1/2 hours which we weren't that interested in. The meal was nice but the driver was late getting back from taking the other "shorter " tour people back to Las Vegas as the traffic was heavy. Our driver, Tony, was an "old hand" and new lots of facts about the city of Las Vegas and the Dam but we feel when he dropped us at the dam he could of explained the dam surrounds, told us more of where to walk and how long it would take.
This was a very well organised tour. I understand it’s called the Express but it would have been nice to have an extra half an hour at the Dam. So much to see.
The driver was good, but made a big thing about his tip and even advised what he though this should be per
person!! Happy to tip if warranted but do not like to be told that you should tip and the amount?? A little disappointed on this point.
We really enjoyed visiting the Hoover Dam! Bus driver was friendly with great sense of humor. Picked up at hotel then transferred to larger bus at company's location, where snack foods, restrooms, and tickets for other attractions were available. Bus took us to chocolate factory which had a nice cacti garden to walk thru, the to Hoover Damm.. the damm gave us a short tour with guide then, on your own. Great photo ops!
Hover Dam was great but tour was to short. Had to rush through to ensure we made it back to the bus in time. Driver Tony was great. Lots of great information from him about the construction and history of the Dam and area.
