Traveler Reviews

The Azalea Trail ride will be challenging to first time riders, if unfamiliar with horses and uneven terrain. That said, our guide CJ was ever vigilant as to the needs and status of his riders. He ensured that for every step that you were in control and also aware of what you were seeing around you. This was a true trail ride, with one small window vista; the majority of the ride was in the woods.

We love this family owned business. They treat their horses and clients very well. Their training before the rides is very extensive.

We had such an amazing experience! Our guide was extremely helpful and patient and made sure we enjoyed every minute. He matched us to the perfect horses, made sure we were comfortable and kept my 7 year old son safe and happy near him. A beautiful background to an incredible activity - we highly recommend.

Most beautiful trail and great horses. I’ve gone horseback riding in several different places and this one was the best. Kids really enjoyed it

Awesome family environment. My mom and I went together. Sonny and his wife are very kind and caring. The horses are very well trained and the ride was easy and beautiful. This was only my second time on a horse and it was great!

We had a wonderful riding experience at Arrowmont Stables! They have several beautiful horses, including my daughter's "dream" horse, the Appaloosa! It's a family run business and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time on our trail ride that we actually booked a second ride for the next day! Our guides were Mitchell and Nicole and they were fantastic in providing an amazing and memorable experience for my whole family! We will certainly be revisiting them when back in the area.
