  Our guide Massimo was the highlight of our day. He was excellent, and truly went above and beyond. We loved spending time with him. Lunch was also delicious. Definitely be prepared for lots of food. The horseback riding was nice but the description is a bit romanticized.

  We did this tour on our honeymoon, and had such an amazing time and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Taormina area. We were picked up by Alberto at our hotel and taken to the farm. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out different areas on our drive to and from the hotel. The owners of the farm do such an awesome job making you feel welcome and comfortable. The food after the trail ride was some of the best we had in Sicily. Everything was homemade and traditional Sicilian food, there was so much food to try we were very full. The only thing we would change is a longer ride to see more the of countryside.

  Our tour guide was the super helpful & knowledgable Maurizio, who picked us up from our hotel. He speaks fluent English and is passionate about Sicily, particularly his hometown Linguaglossa (a beautiful, small and quaint village), which he showed us around. The horse riding was a great way to explore the beautiful Sicilian countryside. The horses were well behaved & safe. After the horse riding we were treated to a 3 course meal at a rustic restaurant. Just a heads up- be prepared to have a BIG appetite!! The experience was well put together and great value for money. We throughly recommend you give it a go.

  Maurizio was such an amazing informed guide this was the best day of our entire trip!! He picked us up at the port and drove us out to the countryside all the while amazing us with his knowledge and stories!!!! He made sure once we arrived that we were well cared for and all the things I was worried about were addressed- we could not have asked for a better guide- a better day- a better experience! Our trail guide made sure our horses stayed on course and made sure we were safe and happy- neither my husband or I had any horseback experience and it was fantastic!! After we had a lunch made right from their farm/garden and everything was delicious- including two types of wine! This by far was the best excursion we took during our seven days away and we would recommend it 100% to anyone who wants a true Sicilian experience- I even left with Maurizio’s families recipe for pasta a La Norma which is a Sicilian specialty!! (Btw I made it and it was amazing) I could go on and on… but you get it- DO IT and ask for Maurizio- you’ll love it

  Highly recommended for any visitors to the Taormina area. The horseback ride was calming, with breathtaking views on all sides, and the lunch afterwards was the perfect sampling of local wine and dishes (prepared with local ingredients).

  Me and my friend had a very fun day! Marco our english speaking guide was great. He had good knowledge about the area, and took good care of us. The ride was shortned because of bad weather, but we enjoyed it. And it was å pleasure to see how loving and caring Alessandro was with the horses. Franco, the host, made sure we got good, homemade, local food. Marco, Alessandro, Franco and Manuel, a young worker, made all sure we had a fun and great day. Alice.

  What a fantastic experience!! I can not recommend this more! Our driver/guide Maurizio was amazing- so completely knowledgeable about the area and willing to share that with us. He was in contact with us from the time we booked to answer any questions and make our meeting easy when we got off our ship. The horses were so friendly calm and well behaved! Neither of us had any experience and were so afraid! Completely unnecessary- they were easy to handle, followed their leader and only walked gently. The staff was so accommodating- they got a step stool to help me get on and a chair to get off!! The horse was tall and I’m not a spring chicken anymore!! Lunch was a perfect selection of exactly what you think of as a traditional Sicilian lunch And everything was delicious!! The trails you walk thru are breathtaking- you can go walk they another tourist town or do something spectacular like this- DO IT and ask for Maurizio!!

  Our guide, Elena, was so kind and knowledgeable about the area. We were taken up to the family farm and got to ride horses around the property. There was a beautiful view of the country side and vineyards. Our horses, Stella and Luna, we’re very sweet but hungry! After the ride, we were taken back to have an authentic lunch provided by Franco and his family. We even were able to take home a bottle of the wine that they make at the farm. This was definitely a highlight of our trip and felt like we got to experience true Italian culture more so than we did at our resort.

  What a wonderful day and way to experience Sicily. Pasquale was tremendously helpful in coordinating our private tour for the one day our cruise ship was in Messina. And Luigi was a wonderful tour guide. It could not of been a better day and the horseback ride was absolutely stunning. The lunch back at the farmhouse was better than expected and absolutely delicious, and our son even made a friend with the owner’s son. And we were even able to make a stop in beautiful Taormina before returning to Messina. All-in-all, a perfect day.
