Our guides were extremely friendly and helpful. We road into a the rainforest, crossed a little stream and ended up at a river. We didn't swim in it because it was raining and the water was rushing a bit but overall the entire trip was beautiful. Also ended up getting some lunch with the tour at the end and it was delicious.

The horseriding tour with our guide Hugo was wonderful and very well organised. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The tour took us through wonderful jungle to a bathing apit in a natural river. On the way Hugo explained us a lot about the nature and the people of Costa Rica. The tour is perfect for beginners as well as for experienced riders. We were picked up / dropped off at our hotel. Additionally we received a delicious lunch on the horseriding ranch. We absolutely recommend a horseback riding tour with Hugo from Tucanes Tours!

We had a very lovely hack, with a relaxing stop at the waterfall. Our guide Cesar was top class, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and super enthusiastic and helpful. We are experienced riders but this tour is very easy for anyone because the horses are so relaxed too. After the hack we had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant. Our driver Enrique was top notch too; he made several stops on the way to the stables to pick up leaves and have us guessed what it was by the smell. It was a great experience! We recommend this tour !

Hugo Humana Vega made today better than I could imagine. I booked this on a whim. I am a single 34 year old mom. I was the first picked up. We were suppose to have 8 more in my group. They all cancelled last minute. I felt bad and offered to cancel if it wasn't worth their time. He made me feel completely in control. So if I felt uncomfortable being a girl alone then he understands but he was also more than happy to take me on the trip. Best decision of my week! Hugo kept me completely in the know of what to expect. I was constantly offered water and bathroom breaks. I never felt like I needed anything. He constantly asked about my well-being and preferences. He was respectful. Offered help from carrying my bag all the way to leading or following. English is not his native language but he explained well and in detail the history of the location I was at. He explained the well being of the horses. The history. He even offered to walk me into the waterfalls so I felt safe. Like a real tour guide. He was committed to providing the absolutely best experience. And he delivered He took pictures for me of me because I wouldn't have any proof or memories since I was solo. I recommend him over and over again. This company is lucky to have him. I was lucky to have him today! These memories will last a lifetime.

Here's the deal with the horseback riding. This is probably not the most exciting adventure tour you can do in Manuel Antonio, but I found it to be relaxing in a very beautiful setting. Also, the service from Tucanes is top notch from start to finish. You don't need to be an experienced rider as the horses are very trained. Our guide, Cesar, did a nice job of keeping the horses moving and helping anyone struggling with his/her horse. On the way to and from the waterfalls we saw two different groups of squirrel monkeys in the trees. Cesar wasn't super talkative, which I didn't mind, but he did point out a lot interesting things along the trail. The meal at the end was also very good.

It was my daughter birthday and this was a great choice. The guy was very knowledgeable, the horses was clean and very well behaved, and we over well had a great time. We also enjoyed the lunch after it was delicious. I highly recommend this tour if you would love to see some great scenery with great people.

We started at Manuel Antonio and took a ride through Costa Rican countryside into a town called London. There we embarked on a very exciting journey on the back of bourse to Orange river which was nothing but crystal clear and beautiful. We swam in the river and then continued our trip to a beautiful waterfall. Kids (12 and 9) really enjoyed the experience. At the end of our journey we had a very nice lunch with local rice and beans and delicious fried fish. A great experience. Even if you are afraid to ride on a horse.

Cesar the guide was amazing. There were 6 in our party and the horses were gentle and very experienced. The 6 miles that we went was beautiful scenery along a river and almost all shaded. We stopped midway at a waterfall so bring your bathing suits and towel. Lunch was fabulous after. 5 star experience.

Meh…..nice horses, trained to walk the gravel road and back. Horses had a pecking order so my horse led the pack and I rode by myself. Guide pulled up the rear. Not much guiding or info. Horses didn’t trot or gallup. It just wasn’t very interesting. Scenery was fine and we caught glimpses of the river and rapids below.
