Know More about this tour

On each of the tour options, you'll find yourself racing beside steep cliffs and caves, and spotting harbor seals at play. A highlight of the cruise is Pam Rocks, popular with Harbor Seals and majestic bald eagles soaring overhead. Cruise out into The Strait of Georgia to see awesome views of Vancouver.

The Howe Sound Sea Safari Cruise is fast but safe. The aluminum hull design with inflatable tubes makes it comfortable in calm or rough water. Depending on the weather, either Mustang Integrity suits or approved life vests are provided for your comfort and safety. The vessel is equipped with VHF radio and a cell phone. You'll get to choose from one of the three adventures below.

The Deep Fjord Tour will soar you up the coastline with the eagles. As you travel this deep into the sound, you will get a look at more of Vancouvers history and see some untouched coast line, as it was before this great city was colonized.

The Bowen Explorer Tour will take you on an amazing ride exploring the highlights of Howe Sound from hugging the coastline and islands to Howe Sound, all the while taking in the incredible wildlife. Check out the seal colony and bird sanctuary, not to mention the iconic Pt. Atkinson Lighthouse.

The Circle Tour will weave you along and around the coastlines and islands of Howe Sound. You will be amazed by the cliffs towering above as you explore the cool glacier water surrounding Anvil Island, see seals sunning themselves at Pam Rocks, and take in the spectacular waterfront homes of West Vancouver.

Just relax and enjoy the ride!

Everything was perfect, from the hotel transport to the tour. On the Zodiac, we went fast (which I loved!) then lingered for long moments at waterfalls, bird sanctuaries, and 3,000 year old indigenous drawings. A great value for the money! Highly recommend.

We were picked up from our hotel, our guide was welcoming and funny. The trip was absolutely stunning and filled with history and information on the area. We would highly recommend this tour!

Perfect half day excursion. Lighthouse, seals, cliffs. Got lucky and had a flat sea day but our driver was kind enough to chase down some ferries to get us a few wake jumps.

We learned so much about the ecosystem and the animals that live there. Our tour guide was fun and made the ride a blast! We saw lots of different birds but the highlight was the seal colony with dozens of seals sitting on the rocks and playing in the water. We got so close to them and really got to see how they act in the wild.

Excellent voyage across the sound! Went on the deep fjord excursion. Crew were extremely passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable about the landscape. Views are incredible, as is the air and sea all around you and the stunning coastlines. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an amazing time on this trip. The views were spectacular and the ride was really fun. We got to see lots of seals and different types of birds and travelled a long way up the coast. Ian was an excellent guide and the downtown pick up and drop off service was top notch too.

Absolutely spectacular trip up the Howe Sound from Horseshoe Bay, past Lions Bay to Britannia Beach and back via the west side of a few islands. Heinrich did a stellar commentary about many of the natural and historical features of the area a number of stops along the route. We saw seals, bald eagles and many types of sea birds. The scenery was truly heavenly and the ride in the large Zodiac style craft was awesome. My wife and I will do this again when we return to BC. We highly recommend this 2+ hour adventure. And hats off to Heinrich - awesome pilot and guide.

Just overall a fun time and bird island with seals was great! This tour was actually as long as it said it would be :). Totally different from others we have taken. Thank you.
