This was a good opportunity to see multiple islands, if you're interested in a quick experience on multiple islands, instead of a long stay on one. Think of it as a sample so you can decide what kind of island you'd want to schedule another time to go back and spend more time on. Each island visited had it's own unique charm and all three were different, and provided different reasons to visit, so all three are worth seeing. During the off season, it was cool, but the boat wasn't very crowded so finding a good sheltered (from wind) with still amazing views wasn't hard to find, but I could see that being a different story during the warmer "busy" season. In the off season, I'm not sure the VIP upgrade is worth it - but I could see it being a more essential need during busy/summer times. The boat was comfortable, the food was good. Crew were all helpful and nice.
VIP upgrade is completely worth it! Great food, friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel pick up and drop off was very convenient. The tours offered on the islands were great and definitely worth paying for, and with VIP you get a free tour. Highly recommend!
I was going to give this trip a 4 star due to the facts there wasn’t much to see or do at the islands, but that was because we were on the off season. This group works very hard to make your trip a good one. They are attentive, full of information, and the entertainment was fun...OPA!!
I liked every part of the experience: the boat was nice and cozy, the welcome from the crew, the food, the islands and the information received was all great. Also the food was pretty good, I expected less for something included with the ride.
nice treep, the boat was very nice but very crowdy a lots of peaple, also the meal was very very average.
we took the other treeps at the islends itself outside the deal and it wasnt neccery, we could have handle without them/
This cruise trip is a must do if you can spare 1 full day while in Athens. All 3 islands are beautiful. We caught into a rain storm in 2 of those 3 islands, but still the trip was worth it. The indoor entertainment in the cruise was pretty good. Enjoyed the Greek buffet and the live Greek Singing performance in the ship.
Delightful ship, crew and destinations. Lunch was great and made some new friends. We felt the VIP was expensive but it was a very nice lounge and we were treated very well!
We did this cruise last week which is off season so the boat was not very crowded. We purchased the optional transfers. We were picked up at our hotel at the exact time we were told they would be there. It was worth the extra money as we did not have to find a taxi or public transportation. The 3 islands visited were quaint fishing villages. There was some stores and lots of restaurants. They did offer extra shore excursions which we did not purchase. We also did not upgrade to VIP but if you plan on drinking a lot this may be a better option as drinks are extra and a bit pricey. The buffet lunch was really good with a selection of salad, rice, potatoes, vegetables, fish, chicken legs and pasta. There was a sweet cake for dessert. The tables were set a little too close together. Some extra room would have been nice. We returned around 7:30 pm and was promptly returned to our hotel. We really enjoyed our day. I would definitely recommend this trip.
We attended the 3 islands trip (Hydra, Poros and Egina) on Monday 11th November 2019. We were there as 2 adults in which we were collected 15 mins late from our hotel which wasn’t really a problem.
You board the boat along with many many others whom arrive on other buses, you set sail for 3 hours to reach the first island. During this time you are asked to attend a briefing about the day basically to sell you further trips on the islands. We felt the lady was rude and lied this was because they spoke about the third and last island called Egina. She said where the boat docks there is absolutely nothing to do and your there for around 1hr and 45mins and you will be completely bored, so she pushed and pushed to sell 1 of the 2 bus tours for that island. We really didn’t like this pressure but we thought about it as you only have a small time frame to purchase extra tours which are very expensive after you have already paid a lot of money for the trip. We made the decision to not purchase a tour and we were so right in doing so as the boat docked in a lovely town with many bars, cafes, shops and markets. We went on a lovely walk along the beach and then had a lovely glass of wine in one of the beach bars, it was just stunning, much better than being herded onto a bus and driven around the island when you have been sat on a boat all day. We felt really aggrieved and mad about the lady selling the tours as she basically lied to our faces on many occasions basically to take our money in which we were on a budget but what a lovely place to explore yourself without spending your hard earned euros.
Also we would like to mention that during the buffet lunch which takes place on the boat in 2 sittings you don’t even get water, every drink you want you have to pay for, again which isn’t cheap. Surely water at least should have been included on the tables during this time. You could really spend a lot of extra money on this trip from VIP upgrades, tours, drinks and snacks.
Positives were lovely weather and gorgeous scenery, you could probably do this trip for cheaper by buying hopper boat tickets to various islands.
From our pickup at hotel, to the onboard experience (Thank you Yanis for the lovely service!) to the island tours and souvenir shopping, we had a day that was fully satisfying. We enjoyed ourselves from sunrise to sunset, both enjoyed while relaxing on the deck of the cruise ship. Don't miss this!
