Stop At: City Wonders, Rome, Lazio

Your night tour of Rome starts at Piazza di spagna to meet up with your guide, who leads you to the most famous landmarks in the citys historical center. As you walk, soak up the romantic ambience of The eternal city lit up in all its glory.
Begin with an illuminated view of the Spanish steps, and then walk over to the elaborate Trevi fountain, where you can throw a coin in the water to ensure youll return to Rome someday, according to legend. Continue to Piazza Colonna, a square that gets its name from the marble Column of marcus aurelius, followed by a stop in front of the Pantheon, a stately temple that dates back to 118 AD.
Next, visit a local wine bar (also known as an enoteca) to partake in the Italian tradition of an aperitivo, which consists of an evening drink (in this case, youll receive a glass of wine) served with classic Italian appetizers such as cheese, bread, olives and cured meats. Then continue your walking tour to Piazza navona, one of the citys most popular squares where cafes and bars surround the Bernini-designed baroque fountains.
Your tour ends here, where you are perfectly placed to enjoy the rest of your evening out in Rome on your own.

Good attraction to do our first night in Rome, the tour guide was excellent. Only down side was the rain.

The tour was pretty good except that we could not always hear or keep up with the guide. Other tours use the whisper service and the guide usually carries some kind of stick so you know where they are.

The guide was informative regarding the different attractions that we saw. The stop for drink/apps was very nice. The restaurant provided a good amount of food/drink. A meal actually. Wish we had known that as we had just finished eating before the tour.

The price was very good. The sites at night were very good. Guide was friendly.

We had just arrived in Rome a few hours before the tour and it was the perfect start to our time there.
    Antonina was amazing!
    So knowledgeable and personable.
This helped get our bearings for the rest of the trip and we couldn’t of been happier with it.
I would definitely recommend this tour anyone coming to Rome.
Thanks very much for an enjoyable night Antonina! 10/10! :)

This our is well made rganized and the aperitivo on the square at the pantheon was the excellent. I had a large Peroni and was served two different kinds of pizza, pesto pasta, bruschetta, and more. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps were crowded but still worth seeing. Good tour at a good price for what you get.

John from the US was our guide and he was great. Super passionate about living there and knowing the history. Took us through many interesting streets and it was a great intro to Rome, just as the ad told us. The appetizers were amazing, and we appreciated the wine! Great way to get to know some people too - such a great way to experience Rome on your first night!

The German born Art Professor/guide was articulate so intelligent yet very personable. The tour was perfect and the Appertivo was a full on dinner fantastic tour !

A lot of fun, in spite of the rain. We felt this would be a good introduction to Rome on our day of arrival. The aperitif experience was ok, food was not great, but the wine was pretty good.

This was the best tour ever. Angie was an American living in Rome and could answer questions from an American point of view. There were only four of us on the tour and we had a great time just talking to Angie about Roman history and the attractions we saw. The restaurant was fantastic and there was so much food we could not eat it all, but it is a late night snack so you need to eat a bite before you go on this tour. She recommended a fantastic gelato place and the four of us had dessert and we went our separate ways. I highly recommend this tour and the guide.

A great orientation to Rome. My husband, who was experiencing jet lag, even enjoyed the tour.
