Know More about this tour

Rome in the evening is more beautiful and be more pleasant than during the day. When the daytime visitors have departed and many tourists have returned to their hotels and when there are fewer cars and scooters on the road, Rome is altogether quieter and less frenetic.

Especially during the hot summer days it is pleasant to tour Rome in the evening. Even if you have seen some of the sights by day they look different during the evening; when the sun has set and the monuments are lit up you get the opportunity to visit them in a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

On this special tour the children will enjoy treasure hunts, quizzes, photo contests and other activities that will keep them engaged whilst at the same time enjoying sightseeing with their parents.

You will visit the highlights of Rome’s city centre; Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and many other amazing places, led by our very knowledgeable guide. • Our tour guide, Marco, was absolutely fantastic! He kept his audience, both adults and children, interested and engaged the entire time. An added bonus was eating the most delicious pizza and gelato we've ever had, thanks Marco!

  • We did this tour with our 7 year old on his birthday and 9 year old. They were both tired before we left and didn't want to go. Within 2 minutes of arriving Marco had them totally engrossed in searching for Madonellas. They loved the tour as did we and were talking about it for days afterwards. The pizza and gelato shops Marco took us to were superb. Marco knows how to engage both adults and children. He is fun, informative and a great guide. This tour is a must do with kids.

  • What? Only 5 stars? Our family would give Marco and the tour 10 of 10 if we could.

Marco was informative, entertaining, and full of energy from the first introduction through to the end. He even offered to walk us back towards our hotel since he was walking that way as well.

Our 9 year old, who can sometimes be somewhat shy with new people, immediately became enchanted with Marco's games/challenges for the little ones.

The stops on the tour were both formal/historical e.g., squares and fountains as well as light and entertaining e.g., the world's oldest bank and explaining what different street names meant. The pizza and gelato were, of course, delicious.

Two words of advice: Do it.

  • We really enjoyed this walking tour. Marco was our tour guide and he was very enthusiastic, spoke excellent English and kept the kids engaged with activities and contests. It was our group of 6 and one other family of 4 so perfect. We had a stop for pizza and it was excellent! Probably the best pizza we had in Rome. We then had a stop for Gelato and again it was the best gelato we had while in Rome. We would highly recommend this tour tour to anyone travelling with kids!

  • This tour was amazing. Marco did a great job with our 6 kids aged 12-1 and kept all of our attention as we walked the sites. I'm dreaming of the delicious pizza and gelato, wish we were back there

  • Marco was a fantastic tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we loved the gelato and pizza. Definitely the highlight of our holiday !!

  • This was an excellent tour that our entire family enjoyed. Marco was our guide and he did a great job of entertaining the kids and adults as he told us about the history of Rome. Our family of 5 was joined by one other family of 5 for this tour, so it was very nice to have a small group. We did this tour the first evening we arrived in Rome after taking a nap to combat the jet lag : . It was a great way to become familiar with the city in an easy fun manner. Thank you Marco!

  • If I could give more stars I would. Marco was our tour guide, and made it fun and entertaining for my 2 boys age 15 and 12. We all learnt alot about buildings, fountains, squares, names of streets, etc. Best pizza that I had in Rome. Big thank you to Marco.

  • Great tour! Very informative and kids kept entertained at all times. Would recommend to any family with young kids.

  • We did this tour with our children ages 9,8,5 and 3 and it was fantastic. Marco was our guide and he was awesome. We saw several of the monuments in Rome and even the adults learned a lot. We stopped once for AMAZING pizza and beer and again for gelato which helped break up the tour for the kids. I would highly recommend this tour and if you can, request Marco as your guide. You won't regret it.
