Know More about this tour

Technology and human touch conflate together on this amazing walking 3D experience of Rome's ancient city.
You will walk through the ancient city of Rome and experience a day in ancient Rome with the visual support of advanced 3D technology. You will receive 3D glasses at the beginning of the tour to use during the itinerary and admire historical accurate reconstructions, as  your guide tells you about the history and stories of Rome.

If youre looking for a memorable tour of the Colosseum and the old town, look no further. Your English-speaking guides will bring to life the glorious past of Rome with the words and the help of 3D Oculus glasses. Admire the  Colosseum in its pristine state,  discover the areas around it and the majestic statue of Nero, which gave the name to the Flavian amphitheatre itself, the "Colossus."

You will enter the Colosseum and walk on the Imperial Forum Way (Via dei Fori Imperiali) to discover the greatness and beauty of Rome. The Roman Forum is the biggest and richest archaeological area in the world. Most ruins, though, are only partially visible today and without a guide, most of their history would remain hidden. As you put your 3D Oculus on, youll be moved back in time, when these monuments, like the temple of Julius Caesar, the Arch of Septimius Severus and Temple of Concord, and many more, were at the peak of their splendour!

NB. We go inside the Colosseum to walk on the Arena, but the use of 3D glasses is not allowed inside the Colosseum.

  • Skip the line tickets for the Colosseum
  • 3D Oculus glasses provided at the beginning of the tour
  • Headsets (for groups larger than 10 people)
  • Professional English-speaking guide
  • Small-group tour of max 12
  • Immersive Walking Tour

NB: You must have a valid photo ID to enter the Colosseum (student's ID, Driver License, Passport or State ID all work.)

We enter the Colosseum to walk on the Colosseum Arena, but use of 3D glasses is not allowed only inside the Colosseum.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Infant price applies with the minimum of one adult.

Colosseum and Roman Forum are ancient sites and not wheelchair friendly. We encourage those with mobility problems to explore different tour options. This tour lasts 3 hours and a fair amount of walking is involved, including stairs and uphill paths.

Strollers are allowed but not recommended, as stairs are steep and the ground is uneven.

There is no scheduled break, but it will be possible to stop for restrooms along the path.

For security reasons, all visitors and their luggage shall be screened; all objects (including mobile phones) must be put in the bag/backpack or in the tray for X-ray screening. Large backpacks, camping bags, bulky bags, and luggage/trolleys are not allowed; medium and small backpacks can be shouldered and must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by security.

The Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit or refund.

Wear comfortable shoes; bring hat and sunscreen.
