  • Jian was extremely knowledgeable, personable and while making me feel safe and comfortable educated me on the history and culture of the Philippines. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who only has a few days in Manila!

  • I purchased Introduction to Philippine history and arts. I toured around together with my 6-month pregnant wife, 3-year-old daughter and 2 senior citizen parents.
We were handled tenderly by RoLIs professional team the ROAD Patriots. They were very FLEXIBLE, THOUGHTFUL, FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. The hot weather that time was unforgiving and so as my daughters tantrum were everywhere. However, the Road Patriots took initiative to make our journey more comfortable and fun. Instead of walking longer they provided us extra transport like E-cab and Kalesa twice!. while we were riding, some members of the Team walked through. literally Patriots!, very safe to be with . some members of the team even carried my DSLR most of the time and captured the priceless moments! Our time machine, Philippine history, arts and food was a success. I do suggest to choose the tour with transport if you travelled with kids and seniors, I think we were just lucky that day. In behalf of my young and old family, I would like to thank the Road Patriots once again. Cheers Mate! see you next time!

  • It was a private walking tour for my wife and me only. We chose the tour with Uber Transportation for our hotel was in Quezon City not very downtown. Viator Pre-paid Voucher shows you the local contact information. I contacted our tour guide in advance via Viber similar to WhatsApp,. The voucher shows his email address as well. The next day our tour guide Mr Jian Tayaban met us at our hotel lobby, then he called an Uber van to start our tour. Jian is a very knowledgeable tour guide and very humble. He is very excited to tell you everything you want to know and happy to learn from you things that are new for him. Our lunch included was at the Ristorante Delle Mitre in the Intramuros area. This church owned restaurant has fantastic food. Jian ordered the dishes based on our taste and his recommendation. The ice cold Halo-Halo is a very fruity and tasty local dessert. The tour covered everything listed on the itinerary. It was perfect for the first day of our Manila visit. You will learn a lot about Philippine history, culture and art through museums, fort and churches. A little challenging part was the walk from the Intramuros the old Spanish city to the National Museum heavy traffic and sidewalk under repair. At the end of the tour, we were facing the famous Manila traffic congestion also difficult finding Uber. This was a great opportunity to experience local life. We were very happy that Jian was with us all the time. He escorted us all the way back to our hotel where we started this long and exciting day.

  • Lefted around 9am. Learned a lot about local culture. The lunch was included and the food was great. My tour guide was very helpful and warm-hearted. I was a little tired around 3pm. My phone showed that I walked for about 11km. Perfect for those who only has one or two days in Manila. One suggestion for the tour will be taking a break between the tours in the afternoon.
