My guide Hosni was exceptional. He was very knowledge and personable. He went above and beyond as my guide. By far the best guide I had during my entire stay.

A must do in cairo! Our guide, Ahmed, was very knowledgeable and helpful, we learned a lot, saw so many things, great experience!

The tour was excellent.. Our tour guide (Akmed) is a kind and well educated person who explained the most important information of rhe mosques and churches we visited. A very funny man who makes history interesting (and not boring). The best tour guide and also the driver in the many experiences I had in Egypt. I highly recomend this tour, this tour guide and this driver. Viator is very lucky to have them as employees.

Very nice guide. Picked us personally from the hotel and drove to all sites. Had very good knowledge of all sites. Clear and easy to understand. Went above and beyond to make this experience memorable for us and our son.

Unfortunately, I do not have many good things to say about this experience to. I will guide and driver arrived on time. The guide was very pleasant, but unfortunately, her fluency in English should have been much better. We found it quite difficult to communicate with her. She outlined all the places that we were due to visit. Because I found it difficult to understand, and I did not realize that that she was taking us on the wrong trip. after having visited the two mosques, I realizedthat there was something wrong and I checked my itinerary and showed it to her. She then realized that she was taking us on the wrong trip and we were to go for the Coptic trip. She contacted her office and they instructed her to take us to the Coptic area. Unfortunately, by this time a lot of time had been lost, and I feel that the full experience of the Coptic area could not be achieved in the short time remaining I am not entirely sure who to blame for this, but it certainly took away a lot from every important part of the experience. The one thing I did learn was to make sure I check the itinerary, with my tour guide, starting the next dayfor the rest of the trip.

The guide did not seem to be aware of the announced program although we did see most of what had been promised. Christian Cairo and the Citadel were fine but the Islamic part was much shortened (e.g., we did not see the mausoleum of the Shah of Iran). Also, the guide seemed to lose his way in the bazaar with several U-turns . He had to wait ca. 30 mins for the final pick up and the ride back to the hotel. In summary, a nice young guide but needs to get more experience.

5 star’s excellent tour knew all the places very well & gave insight and recommendations Where to eat and even took us to the tourist market and helped us make deals with the store owners

We had booked ' Private Islamic and Christian Cairo day tour' with Viator for 19th Dec 2022, paying Rs 5074 for 2 persons. After going on this tour, we realized the information displayed on your website by you/ tour operator was false. I am not sure who is to blame for display of false and misleading information- Viator or Emo tours. You have incorrectly displayed that admission to Islamic Cairo was free. So we could just visit Coptic Cairo- hanging Church, Abu Serga and Church of St Mary. Ben Ezra synagogue was closed. Then we could not visit Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Sultan Hassan , Al Rifai mosque, Tomb of Shah of Iran at all. I was shocked when the guide said you have to pay for the entry of these, whereas it was mentioned in the website and advertisement that the admission to these structures was free. So not only could we not go inside the driver and the guide did not even stop outside these structures to let us take pictures as most tourists want at least to take pictures of these tourist spots, he did not even tell us about these historical places. He made us feel humiliated for not wanting to pay for these sites. We were not prepared to pay as we were not aware in advance that there was entry charges. Instead the guide offered to take us to papyrus shops, perfume shop and cotton shops where the guide could have earned a commission on our purchase. But sadly not a word about Islamic Cairo did he mention nor could we even take a picture as the car did not even stop to let us take pictures outside the historical Islamic sites. I felt humiliation. If I would have known in advance that there would be separate charges for these places, I would have rather chosen to go to Fayoum valley or Alexandria or some other all inclusive package. It was not only a waste of my valauable day in Egypt which I could have spent exploring somewhere I was also belittled for not wanting to pay extra, even though I had already paid more than 5000 for this day package. I am thoroughly disappointed. I have been cheated.
