I loved this tour! What a peek into life in Cairo - the streets were chaotic and overwhelming and we LOVED it. Our guide Tito provided so much great information and made sure we were safe and comfortable the entire time. This is really a must do tour when in Cairo!

I had a very good time on this tour. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and was able to talk about many different aspects of Egyptian history and culture.

Very nice experience with our guide Mohamed... He explained a lot about the market and inside the mosques, very friendly... Fully recommended!

We had a wonderful time with Mohamed and I would highly recommend you request him as your tour guide! One of the highlights was stopping at El Fishawy Cafe in Khan el Khalili - the oldest one in Cairo dating back to 1797. The tea and atmosphere at the cafe was single-handedly the best experience. It was also incredible to walk through the streets of Islamic Cairo beyond the bazaar to see mosques, gates, and other infrastructure dating back many centuries.

The guide talked a lot without saying anything interesting. We were already done with the official tour after 2 hours and then he wanted to take us to papyrus and gold and perfume stores next. We explained what we wanted to see in the old Islamic quarter but he either pretended not to understand or said that it wasn’t included on the tour (even though all these sights were part of Islamic Cairo and we were at walking distance from them.) The guide wasn’t unkind or pushy, just not a good match for our small group. The driver was nice and professional and picked us up in time.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the coptic churches. There are so much to learn of their history. The tour guide, Henry Ayoub is very knowledgeable and well versed in the bible. It was an eye opening experience passing through the garbage district to the Church of St Simon and the Church of St Marcus. It was alo a humbling experience. I highly recommend this tour run by Delux tour.

I loved being guided by Mo and the driver Walid — very knowledgeable and personable and even shared with me the best Egyptian writers after learning I am a writer. Flexible as well when I wanted to change some details of the schedule.

Our guide Henry Ayoub was very knowledgeable, and helpful along our tour. He told us what to watch out for while shopping during the bazaar, and he was absolutely correct about everything! We ate lunch at a very cute Cafe, food was delicious! Mosque was breath taking!

Unfortunately, I felt the need to cut my tour with Mahmoud short as I felt so uncomfortable. Although he knows a lot about Cairo, he spent a big portion of our time together talking about my looks instead. I did not realise I was the only one who had booked onto the tour until he showed up at the hotel on his own with a driver. I’m a blonde, blue eyed, female solo traveller and would not recommend that other young female travellers to do this tour on their own. Mahmoud would get very close to my face when talking, he would tell me I was beautiful on repeat and he also struggled telling a coherent story in english. I had to google most of the places after visiting them as his stories didn’t make much sense. Although I did end the tour early we spent about half an hour just sitting in a restaurant drinking tea rather than seeing more of the city and prior to that we simply drove past some of the most beautiful sights. Please also bear in mind some mosques are closed if you do this tour in the evening. I was told by locals there are much better walking tours out there.
