Know More about this tour

The tour starts at your Tel Aviv hotel, and we shall drive you up to Jerusalem. We shall take you to the Old city walking through the ancient Bab Al Khalil Gate, also known as Jaffa gate.

We shall proceed through the Old City to visit Al Haram Ash Sharif

According to the Islamic faith, this is the location of Al Aqsa, where the Prophet Mohamed arrived after a night journey, riding a miraculous horse Al-Buraq. In addition, the Temple Mount is identified as the place from which the Prophet Mohamed ascended to the sky, where he met Allah and the prophets. For the Muslim believers, this is the 3rd holiest site in the world.

Here we shall visit several the Mosques, if you are a Muslim, or will enjoy them from outside, if you are not:

  • Al-Aqsa Mosque - Al-Masjid al-'Aq - the third holiest site in Islam which name is a reference to Muhammads Night Journey from Mecca.
  • Dome of the Rock - Qubbat al-Sakhrah
  • Dome of the ChainQubbat al-Silsilah , which marks the exact center of Masjid al-Aqsa.
  • Underground Mosque - Marwan-e-Masjid for 10,000 worshippers, the largest mosque in the country

We shall descend back to the Old City to visit more sites of the greatest importance:

  • Ancient Mosque of omar - where the Conqueror of Jerusalem, Caliph Omar Ibn al-Khattab once prayed.
  • Startlingly beautiful Lady Tonsok Palace Aqbat E-Taqiya a Ma'a lot Ha-Midrasha

  • Suq al-Qattanin (Market of the Cotton Merchants), also known as Suq of Amir Tankaz al-Nasiri which is considered to be one of the most complete and beautiful suqsnot only in Palestine, but in the whole of Bilad al-Sham (Greater Syria).

Finally, on our way back to Tel Aviv, and if the time permits, we shall visit the new mosque of the village of Abu Ghosh, the second largest in Israel. The construction of this tremendously beautiful mosque was funded mostly by the government of the Chechen Republic.
