You will leave your hotel early in the morning for the transfer to Ataturk International Airport. Transfer is available from any hotel in Alanya including Gold city, Utopia world, Kargicak, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Tosmur, Oba, Alanya center, Cleopatra area, Konakli, Turkler, Avsallar, Okurcalar, Incekum and Karaburun.
The domestic flight to Istanbul takes 1.25-hours. On arrival to Istanbul Airport you will meet a tour guide and drive to the old town to start a sightseeing tour.
First you will visit Topkap Palace, the residence of Ottoman Sultans where in numerous sections Imperial Treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, Ottoman jewelry, belts and traditional clothes, Chinese porcelain, weapons and more are on exhibition.
You will then have one-hour of free time for lunch. Istanbul offers many cafes, fast-food and stylish restaurants for a wide range of tastes. After lunch you will visit Hippodrome Square, the sporting (athletics, horse and chariot races) and social (court ceremonies, coronations and parades) center of Constantinople. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome.
Your next stop is Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) located in the center of old city. This historical mosque, unique with 6 minarets, was built in the name of Sultan Ahmet and it is popularly known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. Being an active mosque it is closed for tourists for a half an hour during the five daily prayers.
The next place you will visit is the Egyptian (Spice) Bazaar. You can practice your bargaining skills while buying some souvenirs, Turkish delight, spices and more.
You will then have an opportunity to explore Istanbul from the water on a Bosphorus sightseeing cruise (optional for an extra charge). Before you return to the airport you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (extra charge; hot and cold startes, salad, fish/meatballs or chicken, fruits or sweets).
Around 8pm you will return to Istanbul Airport and fly back to Antalya at 9:00 pm. Your tour ends with a hotel drop-off.
