Meet your guide at La Spezia station where we will take a short 10-minute train ride into the stunning the Cinque Terre.
From there, takea boat trip to experience the villages from a panoramic sea-level perspective. Your boat docks at the final Cinque Terre destination where you'll take a short 10-minute car drive into the stunning countryside.
At around 11:30 a.m., take a quick tour of the location where you'll have your class, and then begin the cooking course. The cook introduces you to local products fresh from the garden. Watch a demonstration of how to make a traditional 'torta di vedura' or Ligurian vegetable tart.
Next, you'll be guided through the process of making traditional Italian tagliolini pasta. Then the cook will demonstrate the techniques of some traditional Italian cuisines, including the pasta dough and sauce, which will be used to dress the delicious home-made pasta.
Take a short break to soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the fruits of your labor, starting with the vegetable tart and a glass of the famous local Cinque Terre wine. Followed by the pasta with a creamy nut sauce.
At the end of the day, all guests receive full-printed recipe sheets to help replicate the dishes at home. Your tour ends back at theLa Spezia Centrale railway station.
