The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing private boat will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant.Arriving back in Milan in time for dinner, you won’t believe you managed to see so much in one day, and without ever feeling rushed.

Also called “the Monte Carlo of Switzerland”, this Italian-speaking Swiss town is a playground for celebrities, athletes and entertainers, boasting luxury shopping and fine art, scenic views and a bustling city center. We were very disappointed the lake Como part got canceled not through any fault of the company but the boat had a break down and next one couldn’t come till 12. But our guide was terrific she kept us updated and went on our way to our next tours Bellagio and Lugano. I’m only giving 4 stars because we missed out on lake Como which was where we really wanted to go.

The trip was not organized very well and instead of taking us by cruise to Bellagio they took us by bus. I don’t recommend anyone to take this trip with this company

I love Viator trips, I've always had an excellent time. This is the first one that I would not recommend. It is a bit misleading. For context, I went in the Summer (Early-August), which is a bad time to visit. Como - No time is spent in Como. Your bus drops you off in Como, and then you have enough time to walk over to the ferry before you get in line and board. Such a shame because Como is so beautiful. The ferry is public transportation. Yes mostly tourists, but it's not a private boat or charter or anything like that. The seats might be hard plastic, and you might get stuck out in the sun or standing for the better part of the ride. Not terrible, but also not relaxing and leisurely. Bellagio - Not much time is spent in Bellagio. Around 1h30m. We spent most of it eating lunch. (That boat ride was long with many stops.) I would recommend you bring a lunch with you to eat on the boat, so when you get to Bellagio, we can just sight-see. We had just enough time to eat, use the restroom, and walk to the meeting point. Took a few quick pictures, but it was rushed. Another ferry. Luckily this one was short. Long walk to the bus. Our tour guide was walking really fast. Okay for the younger folks, but if you're a slow walker, you might get left behind. There isn't a lot of sidewalk either, so you have to navigate around other people getting of the ferry. Again, more stress, not relaxing. Lugano - Only had an hour in Lugano. Not enough time for such a beautiful city. Overall the day was about 10.5h, with only about 2.5 hours to sight-see. The transportation except the bus was uncomfortable.

The tour was definitely worth the money, taking into account how much it would cost to do the trips on your own. As described by another reviewer, you take a coach to lake Como, cruising along the lake whilst the guide gives you a description of various sights. First stop is Bellagio where we had about 75 mins for lunch then a short ferry to the other side of the bridge. From there is a coach ride into Switzerland (lugano), where you have around an hour to wander around the city. Alessandra was our guide and she was such a lovely guide! Her mic had some trouble which meant she wouldn't share as much information along the lake como cruise as we would have wanted, but she was very friendly. She did her best to overcome this and made sure the group knew where to meet at each destination. There were two influencers on our trip who were taking photos on the ferry and didn't get off with the group so missed this announcement, but as long as you stick with the guide you shouldn't have any problems getting lost etc! I would say there probably needs to be maybe 20 minutes extra in Bellagio because you stop here for lunch at peak lunch time so it is very busy and by the time you have lunch, you don't have much time to explore. Lugano is also a quick stop by the time you disembark from the coach so as long as you're happy to take in the views, buy some chocolate and then head back this is perfect! Overall we really enjoyed ourselves, saw two places we otherwise might not have been able to fit in, during our Italian summer trip, and found it reasonably well priced for a 10 hour trip! For us, a back up mic/additional guide to look after such a large group would turn this from a 4 star to a 5 star experience! Either way, I would definitely recommend this tour and it's something I'd book again.

A must do! Coach-ride to Como town, then a 2 hour cruise of lake como, finishing at Bellagio. All the definition of picturesque, and finally into Switzerland for freshly made chocolate in Lugano. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide and worth every penny!

I had a lovely trip with Daniele. He had everything timed and organized. We had a short walk to the pier to get our ferry. The boat wasn't too crowded and we all got seats. Lake Como is breathtaking. You get a little bus, a little ferry, some walking in Bellagio and some in Lugano. All of the stores were closed due to a holiday. I didn't complain because it was so hot.

Lake Como is beautiful! We boarded the bus in Milan at the Geribaldi station and arrived at Lake Como. From there we took a large passenger boat to the town of Bellagio, about a dozen stops away. We had about an hour and a half there to dine and shop before boarding a different boat to take us to the bus headed for Switzerland where we spent about an hour. The scenery is beautiful!

We had a great time visiting Lake Como, Bellagio & on to Lugano. The boat trip is actually a ferry with approx 400 other people where most sit inside (if you can get a seat) but other than that Bellagio & Lugano were fantastic.
