Overview
Jajce represents the capital of Bosnian Kingdom during the 14th century. It has significant importance in historical segment, and is also one of the most visited tourist destination in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Famous waterfall where Pliva river meets Vrbas river presents unique beauty of wild nature which simply does not allow being tamed. Visiting the Royal Fortress, Mlincici complex, Pliva springs and Katakombe Museum will take your breath away and make you fall in love with this unique cultural complex.On the road to Jajce, there is the second, small town named Travnik which is also representation of Bosnian culture and lifestyle of local people during the Ottoman period. It is worth and important to point out that Travnik kept almost the same appearance as during Ottoman period. Numerous mosques, houses and fountains are still witnessing leftovers from Ottomans era.

This natural monument is located in the very centre of the town and has been named one of twelve most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Whether you are standing beneath it or looking down from above, the Pliva waterfall creates a spectacular view!
