This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Trip Store Krabi, Krabi Town, Krabi Province

Following a pick-up service from your hotel in Krabi, transfer to Phang Nga Bay by air-conditioned minivan to discover the famous filming locations of The Man With the Golden Gun in Phang Nga Bay.

After a short visit to Wat Suwan Kuha Temple, also known as Monkey Cave, climb aboard a traditional longtail boat at Tadan Pier near Phang Nga Town and voyage over to James Bond Island.

Phang Nga Bay found its way onto the tourist map through its starring role in the James Bond movie starring Roger Moore as 007, and is distinctive for its sheer limestone cliffs that jut vertically out of the crystal emerald-green water.

Discover the famous Khao Phing Kan, a very high leaning rock with tiny caves, where you can find stalls selling souvenirs mostly made from beautiful shells and wood. Walk around the James Bond Island and take a photo of Koh Tapu (also known as Nail Island or Spike Island). The limestone rock is around 20 meters tall with a diameter ranging from about 4 meters at the bottom and up to 8 meters at the top (hence the name of nail island).

Continue to Thalu Island, where you can take a guided kayak tour along the mangrove river and the giant stalactites caves & limestone cliffs (please book the kayak option). If canoeing isnt your thing you can just enjoy the sights that James Bond Island and its surroundings has to offer!

Panyee floating village is where you will stop for lunch. The natural island of Panyee is a towering vertical mass of limestone. Nearly all of the village sits atop a huge network of stilts that clings to the edge of the islands coastline and stretches out over the sea in a maze of raised platforms and walkways.

Cruise slowly back to the pier and make a last stop at Raman Waterfalls on your adventure. A place with an abundance of flora and fauna such as monkeys, deers, squirrels and birds.

Conclude your tour back in your centrally located hotel where you can make a great conclusion to an unforgettable day.

We were picked up in Krabi in a comfortable van but it took nearly 2 1/2 hours each way to the pier because we had to go all the way Ao Nang to pick up 9 more passengers. Unfortunately a family with 3 boys under the age of 10 years old were in the van and the boys were very noisy all the time!! The parents did not keep them from shrieking and talking loud the whole time! Children under the age of 12 should not be allowed! It really spoiled the trip for the rest of the customers. There was one very large long boat full, 30 or more passengers. James Bond island was packed with many more boats and people. The kayaking was fun though we did not get to paddle, a young man did. He was 'nice', insisting on taking pictures of us but then kept muttering that he wanted a 100 baht tip before he dropped us off. The food was good, big buffet, lots of room. The cave temple and waterfall was ok. An 11 hour trip...too much time in the van if coming from Krabi. Very nice organizer, Mai.

    Amazing experience

The day was very long and a lot of it was riding around in a van. I was not impressed when asked by 3 different people to provide a tip for our kayak guide and specifically that it needed to be 100 baht. James Bond Island was extremely crowded. Very difficult to move around and really enjoy the view.

A very good trip. Well organised and professional staff. Only thing I would change would be the length of the tour. Slightly to long the waterfall at the end could be dropped. One stop to many. Would still highly recommend.

it's just too crowded.. i felt like a sardine. First it took two hours with the minivan. We arrived at a harbour and took a longtail boat with 50 other tourists, to arrive at a kayak place. Meaning, you could step in a kayak and a thai guy was kayaking for you, between 100 other kayaks full of Chinese tourists on a 100 m spot in the sea. Then we took the longtail boat again to James Bond Island, a mini spot with again too many tourists... Lunch was for me the most horrible part. Arriving with the boat, eating with 100, maybe 1000 people at one place.... I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    This tour was amazing!

  • 14-Jul-2017

The whole tour was amazing...As we stayed in Railay no pickup service was there, so we reached late.. luckily the local tour operator was still expecting us... I spent the bus journey happily talking with fellow passengers and informing them about the places to cover...the longtail was good enough..and the journey was mesmerizing !! Phang Nga Bay can be memorized for the lifetime... Little more time than 40 mins could be better in James Bond Island..Kayaking trip is a must under the stalactite sea caves... Astoundingly beautiful Ko Panyee island offered the best food of my whole Thailand Trip..monkey Cave temple has a lot of secrets,,finally the waterfall inside the jungle completed all my wishes from this wonderful country... THanks a lot to VIATOR,, !!

Perfect trip - Starting from the comfortable travel coach to the river boats - the food on the floating village, all were just simply too good.: Very relaxing trip and well managed. The guide was simply cheerful and helpful all throught. Only bad part was the kayaking guys asking for 100baht as a tip, before they drop you back to the floating pierthese guys are not affiliated to the tour company, hence can't complain. James bond island usually is very crowded. The monkey temple was very peaceful. All together a must, if you staying at krabi:
