  • Had too much difficulty confirming exact address location. Listed massage location in Viator website is listed in Shibuya but was advised via email by provider that the massage not being provided at Shibuya any longer and only at Ginza location under different provider name. Also had extreme difficulty communicating over phone with non-English provider person at Ginza location. We were unable to find the Ginza address location and therefore did not partake of this massage.

  • We had a relaxing and rejuvenating experience at the massage. The masseurs were very skillful and friendly ....

  • I really enjoyed 2-hour whole body massage! You will not regret to spend this time. After massage, I felt like my body was rejuvenated and pain from spasm muscles was gone. It's a hard to find location not Ginza location, so hiring a taxi is highly recommended. It would be better to have a map of this location Slow Life Salon - it would be easier to find. Once you located it, going back is easy - 10-15 minutes walk to train metro station. My wife took facial and body massage and she was thrilled!

  • Very friendly and welcoming, place was very clean and calming. Great massage highly recommend if you are in Toyko. Great way to finish a holiday if you have been trekking around Japan.

  • Riddle me this: Why did I have to go all the to Japan to have the best massage I ever had?

Getting to the salon: I took a taxi because I did not want to be late or worry about the train or how to get there from the station. I did take the train back to my hotel and it was about a 20 minutes walk to the station I think it was called Hiroo. If you are not familiar with the area as I was not, I would just advise you to leave little early to get there. The people in Japan are so nice, they will make sure you get there. After we called Amy, the salon owner, she met me at the taxi and escorted me to the salon which is in a residential area.

The salon and staff: The salon is adorable, relaxing and very clean. The staff was very kind and friendly.

Arrive early to fill out paperwork.

The massage: Amy the salon owner was my masseuse. She is very tiny but packs a punch. The massage was intense, but I still managed to fall asleep! She then did a facial that was not the traditional facial. It was all movements on your lymphnoids, jaw, head and chin. I could feel her working out the knots. Afterward you get wrapped up like a cocoon in a plastic sheet and the bed is heated. I swear I lost toxins and pounds and probably some cellulite too- LOL. I felt so much better when I left the spa. That was an excellent treatment and I am so glad I went. I recommend this to others to try especially if you are used to Swedish massage, this will be something new. Honestly, if I lived there I would go every week. Not going to lie, it was intense, but so worth it!!! I felt like I was very clear headed when I left and I felt like I was walking on air. I slept so good that night.

If you live in Tokyo I suggest you go, and if you are visiting, I suggest you work this in your schedule. I highly recommend this Japanese- Style Lymphatic Massage treatment at the Slow Life Salon. I am so glad I saw this on Viator and decided to try it.

    Thank you Amy!!
