Gretta was a wonderful guide. She entertained us with many interesting historical stories. Unfortunately we booked the tour for a Friday, forgetting is was Shabbat, so many places were closed in observance. After three stops for artichokes, pizza and an assortment of meats and cheeses (all accompanied by bottles of beer and wine), Gretta announced "now we will have dinner!" Every stop was totally enjoyable. This tour is great value for the money and was the highlight of our time in Rome. I highly recommend it, as well as booking it with Gretta.

Expensive, but very nice experience. A lot of food, but could have served more wine during the trip. Good English speaking guide.

I thought I had been through this area during previous trips to Rome, but I was wrong! This was a totally new area to me. The tour was very informative, the food and wine were very good, and I totally enjoyed it. If you like food and wine, want to get out of the touristy sites, and like Roman history, you need to take this tour!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Fun, passionate, and knowledgeable tour guide. Amazing variety of food, wine, and beer. Great flow between historic sites and restaurants.

I planned this for out first activity upon arrival in Rome and it was everything we’d hoped it would be. A perfect orientation to the center of Ancient Rome, an introduction to the delicious food of Rome and an educational and entertaining immersion into the Jewish Ghetto/Navona area in which we were staying for 5 days. Our guide Simona— a historian (and amateur comedienne— she was delightful and hilarious) was a joy and really knew her stuff! The food, the company, and the amount of learning made this the perfect way to begin our stay in Rome!

Guilia was knowledgeable, funny and compassionate! She had a great demeanor with the vendors/restaurants and really made us feel welcome and less like tourists! Which by the way to everyone out there it really is OK TO BE A TOURIST! Food was fantastic and I highly recommend eating in the ghetto while in Rome

Walk around and the back half of the foodie tour. Can do without the many survey requests. Minimum amour of characters….come on..

Very educational experience. I had no idea about Italy's role in the deportation of Jews in WWII. The food & drink were awesome. I highly recommend this tour.
