Wir hatten eine wunderbare Erfahrung mit dem Team von honest travel experience. Zunächst waren wir sehr skeptisch wegen der TukTukTour durch Johannesburg. Man hört oft von der Kriminalität und den unsicheren Straßen in der Stadt. Trotzdem buchten wir die Tour. Anfangs war die Abstimmung bezüglich der Abholung bzw. des Transfers etwas holprig, aber der Transport hat prima geklappt. Wir wurden direkt im Hotel abgeholt und auch pünktlich wieder zurückgebracht. Wir waren zu zweit auf der Tour, hatten zwei Reiseführer, die mit dem ERoller das TukTuk begleiteten und eine Fahrerin, die das Fahrzeug fuhr. Wir saßen zu zweit im TukTuk. Die Abdeckung des TukTuk war etwas stärker nach unten gezogen, so dass man zwar keine Bilder aus dem Fahrzeug machen konnte, jedoch gut geschützt war. Die beiden Führer waren sehr nett und kompetent. Wir wurden zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gefahren, hatten ausreichend Zeit auszusteigen, Fotos zu machen und konnten sämtliche Fragen stellen. Insgesamt ist die Tour sehr zu empfehlen. Wir fühlten uns jederzeit sicher und können diese Tour zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

These people literally canceled the Bushfire trip the night before. All they had were apologies and no alternatives. I’ve attached the WhatsApp message that was sent. They sighted passport issues like that was an unforseeable issue. Not only that they also didn’t give us refunds so we can attend Bushfire on our own by some miracle. I found them to be extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Had we been give sufficient time to make alternative arrangements it would have been better or at least give us out money back. I had already taken leave and packed and ready to leave at 7am and instructed. Never again. 🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮. We actually spent money preparing for this and that all was for naught! I doubt we will even get our money back! Words cannot express how upset I am shame.

I loved camping, loved venues and sites for camp and travelling by bus anď sõcialising and networking.and put the cherry on top o loved the food.

I loved every minute of our Drakensberg trip! Honest Travel and Franck made us feel welcome, catered to our needs and encouraged us all to bond with each other throughout the weekend. I especially loved the hikes we did and the different conversations we had as people from different backgrounds. Also got lots of time to relax and just breathe in the fresh air! Definitely going back again so and you should too :)

Da wir unser Flug zurück nach Hause erst um 20:00 Uhr ging und wir unseren letzten Tag nutzen wollten, um Johannesburg noch etwas besser kennenzulernen, hat uns eine Freundin kurzfristig zu Frank Tours vermittelt. Unseren Vorstellungen entsprechend wurde für uns über Nacht eine Tour zusammengestellt, die uns von Windybrow über den Constitution Hill und die verschiedenen Teile von Braamfontein bis nach Bertrams und wieder zurück nach Hillbrow führte. Absolut empfehlenswert, da man Orte wie Victoria Yards kennenlernt und viele Informationen über die Stadt bekommt, die dem Jo´burg-Besucher sonst vielleicht verschlossen bleiben. Fazit: ein großartiger Abschluss einer 5-wöchigen Afrikarundreise und immer wieder gerne.
