Pick-up and travel went smoothly in a comfortable 20-passenger coach and the tour guide did an acceptable, but not exceptional job. The castle offers three different tours: this package included the basic tour. Had we known of the other tours that included access to more of the castle, we would have tried to find a trip package that included that access.

Wonderful easy 1/2 day castle trip, Karlstejn is beautiful -such a classic castle with great history, very enjoyable tour and knowledgeable guide spoke 5 languages! Nice easy pace, with a great little Czech restaurant for meeting point at the end and time to get food. Perfect way to spend a morning outside the city .
