Overview

Dhampus Sarangkot Trek is short hiking trek around Pokhara valley. Sarangkot is just above Pokhara city and is a popular destination for viewing magnificent views of Himalayas.

Dhampus is the beautiful village settled by most of the Gurung community. It is also the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Dhampus Sarangkot trek is an ideal trek for the first-time visitor and unexperienced trekkers and for the travelers who have limited time to experience the trekking of Nepal.
This is combination of the Cultural, religious, historical and wildlife tour with beautiful hill station hiking at Dhampus Sarangkot in Pokhara. Chitwan National Park is Nepals first National park established in 1973 BC, spread over 932 Km2. Chitwan National Park famous for the endangered one-horn Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Ghadiyal (species of Crocodile) and other many species of wild animals.

Day 01 : Kathmandu Arrival

One of the representative from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure will be waiting you outside the International Airport terminal gate holding your name and take you to the respective hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

You will be Proceed on to Boudhanath Stupa ,Patan Darbar Square ,Pasupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath Stupa after breakfast in the morning . Swayambhunath is said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a birds eye view of the Kathmandu City. Tour of Patan is known as Lalitpur or the city of beauty is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 03 :Drive from Kathmandu Chitwan

After an early breakfast, drive to the Chitwan NationalPark (187km/5 hrs). Transfer to your hotel/jungle lodge. This National park having 932 sq. kms is said to be one of the best in south Asia and famous for its population of the one horned Asian rhinoceros, several species of deer, monkeys, sloth bear, wild boar, spotted leopard, the Bengal tiger as well as other lesser mammals, birds and reptiles. Day 04 : Chitwan Wildlife Activities

Day 05 : Chitwan to Pokhara ((915 m)

After Breakfast in the morning you will be taken to Tourist Bus Station to drive to Pokhara

Day 6 : Drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1,750m.) 3/4hrs Trek.

After breakfast, we drive about half an hour from hotel to Phedi.Then, we start our trek ascending to Dhampus village for 3/4 hours.On the way, We pass through beautiful rice terrace, settlement and green forests.Overnight in Dhampus

Day 07 : Trek to Sarangkot (1,590m) 4hrs Trek.

After breakfast,we continue our trek to Sarangkot.we get oppourtunity to explore rice paddies field, hills, landscapes and beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges. Sarangkot hill is famous for sunrise/sunset view/mountain view.At an elevation of 1590m,Sarangkot is perched on a high ridge to the northwest of Pokhara and has panoramic mountain views from Dhaulagiri and across the Annapurnas to Manaslu,as well as south over the Pokhara Valley.Overnight at lodge in Sarangkot

Day 08 :Trek to Phewa Lake , Pokhara 2 - 3hrs Trek

Early in the morning,we enjoy glorious sunrise view and mountain views from Sarangkot.After breakfast, we start our trek descending downhill with magnificent mountain view and Pokhara city.Free time at Phewa lake. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu (200kms / 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast, you will catch the Tourist Bus to commence your return journey back to Kathmand.At evening,traditional cultural dinner.Overnight at your hotel in kathmandu.
