  • It was OK - Our guide was awesome but it was a long bus ride to one stop at a lookout point on the canyon and nothing more! My expectations was a more intensive tour of the canyon.

  • The Canyon is obviouisly the highlight - definitely a must see! However, if you have your own car, you could probably check it out yourself. Then again, it was really nice being able to relax and enjoy the views. Heads up though - apparently this is only the 'half day' option - we were unaware, but others on our tour stayed on longer to go on a boat cruise. In all, it was a good day seeing parts of Kauai!

  • My husband and I were disappointed in this tour. The stop for free coffee was a tourist trap. We also stopped at the Spouting Horn Park which was another tourist trap. On a good note, the views of the canyon were spectacular. You can't beat what Mother Nature has to offer!

  • Very nice tour. We got to see a lot of the island on our way to the Waimea canyon. They are lovely. Our tour guide took us to another locaton/lookout near the canyon which was simply beautiful. Lunch was on our own, which worked out well. The tour seemed a bit too long. If someone was going to combine it with a boat ride or fern grotto visit, that would make it really long. As a suggestion, it may help to shorten the earlier part before getting to the Waimea canyon. I don't know if that is possible though.

  • Very comfortable tour in an air conditioned mini-bus. Auntie Nani was a great guide who entertained us with local stories throughout the tour. The Wainea Canyon is a must-see.

  • This tour is really run by Roberts Hawaii. Larry is a terrific tour guide. He is a really good storyteller full of knowledge about Kaua'i -its history both natural and human. He is a longtime resident who enjoys exploring hiking trails so he knows things firsthand. Because we were a slightly smaller group 11 people we were in a mini-bus and he took us extra places that a full big bus cannot go. We got an amazing view of the Napali coast which was as beautiful as Waimea canyon. For lunch we stopped in the town of Waimea where there were was a handful of different good lunch options shrimp stand, Thai, mexican, subway. I had Pad Thai with chicken at a little local hole in the wall and it was delicious. I signed up for this slightly shorter tour we were delivered back to our hotel just before 3pm because I knew we would be tired. The rest of the group then proceeded to the riverboat tour after dropping us off. So if this tour sounds the same as the longer one minus the riverboat...its because it is. Thank you Larry for a wonderful day!

  • Michelle was our driver and guide and was amazing! She took very good care of us and with the small van not a large tour bus, we were able to go on the scenic route to Waimea Canyon. She was very knowledgable and very personable. We really enjoyed our day with her.

  • I am not sure its worth the 72/per person that I paid for it. Katz was very nice. Excellent guide but you could have gone Waimea canyon on your own and save the money.

  • The tour guide made the trip extra special. She was able to make everyone feel at home. She told us lots of stories and explain the culture. She was flexible enough to accommodate our requests. I highly recommend this trip. We were able to see a lot within the hours that we had.

  • Great Tour. Michelle out tour guide was excellent!
