An easy way to start your romantic day on the Rhine: Present your KD ticket onboard any KD ship and enjoy all scheduled day cruises on the Rhine river for one whole day. The extensive and reliable timetable enables you to disembark as often as you like at the many interesting stops, and spend as much or as little time as you would like. Departure from Cologne is daily only at 9.30am.

Use the pass as a one way ticket to get from one city to another, or maybe you prefer to use it as a return trip to spend a day elsewhere along the river, the choice is yours! Starting from Cologne, you will be able to enjoy the stunning so-called "Siebengebirge".

This is a fantastic alternative to rail travel, while viewing the Rhine Valley from it's Best vantage point - the Rhine itself!

The Rhine Pass is valid on all scheduled KD day cruises between Cologne and Linz as well as Koblenz and Mainz, as well as the Moselle between Koblenz and Cochem except special theme cruises and cruises including gastronomic service.

    HORRIBLE !!! We planned to spend the day on the river from Cologne to Koblenz castle and Deutsches Eck. The ad says Hop-on Hop off but the guy at the ticket booth said: 1. There's only one boat, 2. You could only get off once and you would have to wait several hours before the return boat came back for the return trip. 3. If you get off in Koblenz, you wouldn't have any way back to Cologne on the KD boats. 4. Even if you didn't get off in Koblenz, and just rode there and back, you would have to leave Cologne at 9:30 am and wouldn't get back until after 7:00 pm. This is not what the website says and I wouldn't have booked it if it had. Didn't step foot on the boat and therefore didn't visit Koblenz as we planned. Very disappointed and sad to have missed this on a once in a lifetime trip to Europe and Germany, because of KD and Viator.

    Amazing day of relaxation. During our trip 30/06, it was cloudy, the water was calm and the intermittent commentary about the surroundings really made it worth taking the cruise. The staff spoke english well and the rates were pretty okay both on the deck and in the restaurant below. It was not crowded at all, and the cruise ship itself was a 3 decker. Definitely recommended for people who are looking for a day off of their busy european tour to calm down and recharge.

    My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing day cruising on the Rhine. The ship was very comfortable and clean, and the food for sale onboard was excellent. We only wished there was more information about each port so that we could have made an informed decision about where to disembark.

    It was a good trip but a bit of a snooze cruise. Glad to get off and visit LInz, a beautiful town. Wished we had known to book a train back and then would have enjoyed the trip more

    The KD Rhine Cruise was awesome we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend
    it and the food was also very good.

    Good value. Nice boat. Alas low waters meant Linz inaccessible. food simple fare but not expensive.

    The ship and was nice , quite and the overall trip was very relaxing , we liked it , But one thing we were upset about , the one of the workers , who took the tickets from us on koln , was very rood in asking us about our destination , he was unpolite and talking in a loud and rood voice , his name is marcos .
    It would be perfect if there was more options in vigitarians meals .

    The worst experience on any vacation I have ever taken. This was the return part of our vacation. The first part was even worse. The Pre- Paid Voucher that we printed out says we can hope on and off as we please from Colonge to Mainz bu the boat does not even go all the way to Mainz, it only goes as far as Linz. We had to get off at Remagen and take a train to Mainz which cost me an additional 55 euro.
