We had the absolute best time and Shane was fun, and extremely knowledgeable sharing a lot of information that only locals would know. We saw a mama bear and her three cubs as well as eagles, a beautiful waterfall, salmon leaping up the ladder and so much more. Definitely take this trip!

This was an incredible tour! Shane took us to all the stops mentioned and explained life as an Alaskan, from a local! He made sure to have his eye out for wildlife and made an impromptu stop for a bald eagle when he saw one! We got out at every single stop and he took pictures from all angles for us as if we had our own photographer and tour guide in one! We saw 2 bears and 2 eagles on the tour and then finished with the incredible tour of Saxman village. This was an unforgettable tour!

Shane did a nice job taking us around the entire area. Spots along the waterfront, water falls, fish hatchery, and a native village. Very informative and a nice guy.

We had many excursions during our time in Alaska and it they were all excellent but this was simply the best - We got to see rivers full of Salmon and numerous Black Bears - some of them catching some of the fish - a simply fabulous experience and our Guide Shane was terrific - and on top of all of the above, this excursion was the least expensive one we took.

We were so happy they still did the tour with just two of us. We had a great time, learned a lot, saw lots of wildlife! They were so flexible and accommodating! It was so nice to avoid the large tours.

See the salmon run…that’s amazing! Wild live: we spot bald eagles, the beach with many marine creatures along the rocks…see the creeks with more spawn salmons where bears usually spotted…

Shane was great he met us on the dock and then spent time to give us information and background of the area. We visited several great places and even got to visit with the Tlingit Totem crafters. He was friendly and it was a great Your of Ketchikan!!

Went on this tour a few weeks ago. They called in a different local guide to help out due to being so busy (think name was Kaitlin? Sorry for forgetting your company name) who was an absolute delight. Informative, interesting, and patient. Even though there was no bears, doubling back at a later time on the way back to check again. Plus spotless van. Thank you for such an amazing half day trip!
