The guide Paolo was very clear. The visit (in French) was passionating ! It was useful to get the main information about the Vatican story ans museums.

I literally had not idea what Viator was 2 weeks ago but when trying to figure out how to "skip the line" for the Vatican it came up. There are a bunch of tour options but many of them charge full price for children which is unnecessary because entry is free for certain ages and heavily discounted for slightly older ages. This tour company seemed fair priced and in the end we got the greatest tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. His name was Salvatore and he totally engaged each of us on the tour including my 8, 6 and 4 year-old children. We were four adults as well and each of us got a lot out of the tour. The guide took his time and never rushed us and yet we also never felt like he was cutting these short to make up time. Lots of great questions were answered and at the end of the tour I wanted to invite him to dinner with us. Great experience. Don't think twice about booking it. I'm sure that Viator will have some good and bad companies working with them but for my first experience to be so positive creates a lot of goodwill for this company among my family.

Manuela built quick rapport with our children ages 5 and 13 and is a wonderful story teller. The tour was great, but be aware that the afternoon booking will put you into St. Peter's Basilica at the start of 5pm mass which limits how much of the Basilica you can see unless you plan to attend the mass.
