Great walking tour - thorough and provided so much history about Kiev. The lighted churches were so pretty at night. Tour took about 2-2.5 hours - guide was flexible on where pickup and drop-off would be. Highly recommend.

This was a great couple of hours spent in the company of a great guide. There was lots to see and we saw a lot. The history of the places we went was fascinating. My guide was so good the time flew past. Her knowledge was incredible and has the ability to explain it easily is a plus. Only complaint - it went too quickly. It was so interesting and fun that the time flew past

Unfortunately the traffic was horrendous due to rain and the military practicing for the 26th anniversary of Ukraine independence. This slowed us down considerably but, still, I had an amazingly knowledgeable tour guide and learnt so much, highly recommended.

My guide met me at my hotel and after asking what I had already seen and was interested in seeing, took me by bus to a really interesting Orthodox church/monastery complex that we walked around. There was a service going on inside so we saw some of that and my guide explained things about the service and how that differs from religious services that I'm familiar with. She also explained a lot of historical information about the site and suggested specific things to see when I came back the next day during open tourist hours. Obviously many traditional tourist sites aren't open at night, so anyone taking this tour should set their expectations accordingly. But Kiev is beautiful to wander around in at night, and my guide was extremely knowledgable about multiple topics, historical and contemporary. I liked that the guide customized the tour to my interests. I also took this tour because I wanted to have a conversation with a local person about Ukraine and things going on in the Ukraine. We had a good conversation as we walked around the city.
