It was a real disappointment, there is 3 hours travel each way so minimum 6 hours approx but no one can do anything about it. The canopy walk is trekking 30 meters or so and walking over hanging bridges that gets completed in 30 minutes approx. There is nowhere to stay up there and enjoy. The only activity is to take photographs and it is not without advanced payment. Botanical garden is a joke, its a forest with entry for tickets and exit after few minutes. Hot springs is where one can spend sometime but it requires a lot of improvements.
Also, if it rains, you would have spent all your time travelling, having lunch and come back. I think it is highly priced and not worth unless things are improved for tourists to enjoy.

    Nice trip, and great views.
Van was old and not comfortable and restaurant for lunch was also not good.

Kasim had been a wonderful tour guide and kept us all very entertained as he brought us to the Kinabalu Park and telling us facts about each of Kinabalu's signature and distinct botanics. The canopy walk was very entertaining as well though it is a bit frightening for those who are scared of heights but nonetheless, every one makes it across very safely! The hot springs was a miss though, it definitely felt like a public pool more so our tour members were not particularly interested to hop into their facilities - to each their own!

We were met in our lobby on time but waited for others at their hotels. We were told roughly 11/2 hours away, it took nearly 3 hours. The canopy walk was great, and the rainforest was very pretty. We couldn't go to the mountain first as there was a climbing race going on so we drove another hour to the canopy. The hot springs were really the locals swimming pool, there were a lot of locals there, not really relaxing. The lunch was nice. Our guide Jonny was good, we left after lunch to head back to the national park, arriving at around 2.00pm. We walked around a orchid garden, which was part of the botanical gardens, and then left. Another couple of hours home. A very long day of driving, I would suggest going there in a lot more comfortable car, ours shook every bone, not comfortable at all. liz

Great small group day tour with very informative guide. Scenery was great, lunch was okay, Canopy walk very good and the waterfall was lovely. Certainly worth seeing.

The local agent pick up was great and contacted me a day earlier for pick up arrangement. Canopy Walkway was pretty good and fun and had a v lucky dry day with nice temperature. Poring hot spring was disappointed as it was all enclosed in concrete blocks with tap. The waterfall nearby was good.

My wife and I went to KK for our wedding anniversary and took the canopy walkway and Poring Hot Springs and it was OK. But the real highlight was tasting the best durian and the best "marang" along the way. Our guide, Alfred, did a splendid job. He also brought us to a blooming Rafflesia flower.

Highly knowledgeable guide, excellent sights and a chance to see rural Malaysia. We were also fortunate enough to see a Rafflesia blooming.
This was one of the best parts of our 8 night stay.
