We were picked up at 4:30am. The bus was very comfortable, had charging dock for every sit and a toilet at the back. Breakfast at Kings Creek Station was great and included in the tour price. The beginning of the rim walk was quite hard - climbing 500 stairs but it was worth it. The scenery during the walk was spectacular. Our tour guide Michelle and the bus driver Frank were very informative and friendly

The tour guide Glen was fantastic. He made everyone feel relevant, brought our group together by referring to them as “family” made my 12 year old shy daughter feel more confident by giving her leadership roles. He knew a lot and made the tour an experience to remember for a life time.

We were excited to take the day trip to Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park from our base at Ayer’s Rock Resort, but we had a more fun and memorable day than anticipated! The very early start was tough but the bus was comfortable and it was easy to rest for the ride to Kings Creek Station. Our driver, Phil, was a pro and kept us safe from the critters that may appear on the dark morning highway (he had to abruptly stop for 2 massive camels that were on the side of the road, very cool to see but glad Phil avoided them!). Breakfast was filling with options for vegetarians or those that prefer a light brekkie. Our guide, John, was one of the best guides we’ve ever had! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and made safety a top priority. We chose the hike up/around the rim. The first set of steps was steep but manageable if you take your time. After that first part, the rest of the hike is very doable for someone with average fitness. We had 43 people on our walk with a mix of ages (young to more mature) and abilities. John kept a close watch on our large group and made sure everyone kept drinking water and stayed with the group. The hike was spectacular and much more interesting than what we originally thought when we read it was a “rim walk”. Definitely do the optional extra little hike to the Garden of Eden and sit quietly to enjoy the natural beauty of this scared place. The post hike break at Kings Canyon Resort was nice. We packed our own lunch and had a lovely picnic overlooking the mountain ranges. Our final pit stop on the way back to Yulara was a fun surprise at an interesting Outback roadhouse. We highly recommend this trip and our awesome driver (Phi) and guide (John)!

Even though it was an early start, this trip was very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Glennon was very knowledgeable, helpful and made the tour fun from the start. He was concerned with safety issues of all the tour participants and got us all back safely. We all really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it.

Just an amazing experience largely due to a fantastic guide in addition to the amazing scenery. A reasonable level of walking fitness is required but it is well worth the effort.

All of it is memorable, breath taking & majestic! Very lucky to have Jim from AAT as our vigilant guide who made it super memorable & enjoyable. Love ya Jim! & Frank too who lead the Creek Walk & both made the whole day tour super awesome 👍🏼👍🏼. Do assess your fitness for the Rim Walk which is challenging due to steep climbs & descents, stairs, rocky & loose pebbly terrain. Carry 2 litres even on a cooler day & drink it - it all evaporates. Very thankful that I did.

The Kings Canyon day trip was so fun! Our guide Wills was so educational and everyone in the group had a great time. You could tell Will really loves the information of the gorgeous area and convos with everyone including me! Food was really yum aswell. Would deffs recommend to people I know and I can’t wait to come back!

This is a fantastic day trip for those who don't have their own vehicle. We were staying at Uluru and selected this day tour instead of hiring a car and driving the 3-4 hours each way in day. So glad we did not drive ourselves. We were picked up at Yulara resort by Tracey and Michelle. The coach arrived on time ..at 4.30am..and was very comfortable and clean. We were able to snooze for a couple of hours and then Michelle gave us a really interesting commentary as the sun was coming up. We stopped for a hearty breakfast which was included and then arrived at Kings Canyon. We selected the Rim Walk which was just spectacular. Then to Kings Canyon Resort for some lunch...heaps of options there ..from BYO, snacks to pub style meals. Once again, Michelle's commentary was informative and entertaining. Great driver and tour guide made it a great day

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, Frank & Michelle were our tour guides and provided interesting and thought provoking knowledge of the area in and around Kings Canyon, and on the drive there & back. Breakfast at the Kings Canyon Creek Station was great, if a little busy, with fresh scrambled eggs that were amazing! The 500 steps to the top of the rim sounds a lot but not too bad when broken up into 3 parts. The views all the way round were well worth the walk and navigating the rocks! My tip would be wear shoes with good grip & you’ll definitely need the recommended 2 litres of water to take with you!
