Know More about this tour

We start our tour with a visit to the Mother (St. Teresa) at Mother House. It is here that Mother Teresa lived, prayed, worked & guided her pious family of sisters. A drive through Dalhousie Square to explore (the Writers Building, St. John's Church, Governor's House [Raj Bhavan], General Post Office [GPO], St. Andrews Kirk, Dead Letter Office, Currency Building), a ferry ride across the river Hooghly (Ganges) to get a picturesque view of both the landmark bridges of Kolkata, the Howrah Bridge & the Vidyasagar Setu. Feel the placid breeze and get a panorama of the city while crossing the river. Get a view of the Howrah Station from outside, the busiest railway station in India. Add more charm to your tour, get mesmerized by the scintillating view of the largest flower market of Kolkata, second largest in Asia.

We halt at Park Street for Lunch. After a scrumptious meal we proceed to Victoria Memorial, a magnificent and grand marble palace with beautiful gardens and a museum. We now head towards Princep Ghat, one of Kolkata's earliest recreational spots and a photographers paradise. Resting on the banks of the beautiful river Hooghly, this place is adorned with lush trees and expanse of green lawns.

We conclude our tour at New Market, the fashion street of Calcutta. Walk around the New Market area to explore the spice shops and oldest tea shops of the city. You may buy a few souvenirs as momento of the tour.
