Afterwards continue on to visit the city of Nov Knn, known for it's gold mining days and for being a permanent settlement that dates back to the 9th century. The estimated yield of the mines is around 1 kilogram of gold per ton of rock. One of the last attempts to restore the mines was at the end of the WWII. Visit the gold museum that chronicles the towns history. The museum is located in a historical building, and its exhibits focus on the history of the mining and refining of gold.
The tour continues on to the town of Karltejn, where youll ride a horse-drawn carriage to the castle. Enjoy a typical lunch at the U Adama restaurant and choose from a variety of traditional Czech dishes.
