Know More about this tour

A private vehicle will pick you up from your Seoul hotel between 7:30am -7:50am.Meet your private guide, and head toward the first stop on your 8-hour tour, Imjingak Pavilion. This park on the banks of the Imjin River was built to comfort the millions of people on both sides of the divide who were left unable to return to their homes.

Continue on to the demilitarized zone, or DMZ, formed after the Korean War between South and North Korea. Measuring just 2.5 miles wide at its widest point, this strip of landcrosses the Korean Peninsula, creating a buffer between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the north and the Republic of Korea to the south.

Head undergroundwith your guideinto the third infiltration tunnel. Discovered in 1978, the tunnel was one of four built byNorth Korea to mount surprise attacks on their southern enemies. Continue on to Dorasan Station, the northernmost railway station in the countrythat once connected North and South Korea. At the Dora Observatory, gaze through binoculars atthe North Korean propaganda village and as far north as the city of Gaeseong.

Afterlunch (own expense),ride the Cable car (extra fee) or walk up Namsan Mountain toN Seoul Tower, one of Seoul's most recognizable landmarks, where you can watch atraditional performance or take in the panoramic views from the observatory (own expense).Notice the thousands of colorful padlocks secured to the terrace fence, each symbolizing a couple's love.
The wait for the Cable car can be more than one-hour during weekend, high travel season or overcrowding. In this case, we will need to walk up to the tower. Performance in N seoul tower may not be available depending on the weather or another situation.

Return to our hotelaround 4pm, leaving you plenty of time to rest up and head out for a night on the town.

We visited a number of DMZ sights including the Odusan Unification Tower and sights at Imjingak like the steam engine, Skywalk, Bridge of Freedom and Beat 131 (Underground bunker). We then spent time at the War Memorial of Korea and finished up at the Seoul Tower. The tour gave us new insights on the devastation of this war and then the speed in which South Korea rebuilt is truly remarkable.
Our tour guide and driver, Brian was excellent. He was knowledgeable and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour company and guide.

Our guide Jay did a great job. Super nice, knowledgeable and made the day easy. Would recommend him for any tours in the area

The dmz was a little disappointing seeing it was rated very highly. Our personal guide made up for it. If you can afford it, do a private, personal tour

The tour was good and we had a really good tour guide named Kim. He was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant and we would highly recommend him. The DMZ part of the tour was very interesting and well worth it. The Dragon Hill Spa was OK but it took a long time to work out what we were able to do and then how to do it. I would have happily left that part out.
