Know More about this tour

Kotor is surrounded by lofty mountains which peer over its Bay of Kotor, Europe's southernmost fjord. As the Mediterranean's only fjord, this bay was added to the list of the twenty five most beautiful bays in July 2000. You will be picked from your hotel (or pick up point) in Dubrovnik and then enjoy the tour in a new Mercedes, air-conditioned minibus with an English/Spanish speaking guide. Once you arrive at the Croatian-Montenegro border, you will need to be sure you have your passport with you. Once you cross the border, enjoy a panoramic drive around the Bay of Kotor. Boka Kotorska will fascinate you. It looks as if the mountains have cracked and let the sea in. This is the southernmost fjord in Europe. The bay is all natural. Admire its beautiful small towns as treasuries of history, art, and beauty, that are strung like pearls on its coastline.
Your next stop is Perast, the ancient village. It is rich in Venice-like architecture which includes sixteen Baroque palaces, seventeen Catholic churches, several important Orthodox structures, and a series of nine defensive towers. The highlights are twin islands of St George and Our Lady of the Rocks. Both are religious pilgrimage sites. This tour includes a boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks, which was artificially created in the 15th century around a rock where an image of the Madonna was found. Every year on July 22, the locals row over with stones to continue the task.
You will arrive in Kotor around noon. Kotor is located in a dramatic and secluded Mediterranean Bay (at the head of southern Europe's deepest fjord), and it is one of Montenegro's most picturesque cities. For centuries, it has been a crossroads of commercial roads under the strong influence of Venice. It is protected by mountains with a strong defense structure built during the time of Byzantine Empire. You can start wandering through Stari Grad (Old Town) and exploring its cobbled lane ways and atmospheric squares.

Very well organized. Friendly staff. Highly recommended, even in a very hot day. The app is also impressive, good communication.

Great day trip to Kotor for the day. Took away the stress of having to self cross the border from Croatia. Itinerary was great, coach was comfortable, guide was excellent!

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our trip so much. The guide was inexperienced and don’t tell us much information and we took forever going through the border(not guides fault) The guide we had in Kotor was really good but we felt as though we didn’t get value for money. Had been really looking forward to the trip but sadly it was a disappointment.

Well-organised tour with a great guide who shared interesting history on Dubrovnik and Montenegro. The towns of Perast (with a trip to the Lady of the Rock) and Kotor are beautiful. There was plenty of time to explore Kotor Old Town and have lunch. The mini bus was comfortable and clean. There weren't much of a queue at the borders so the tour ended in Dubrovnik around 5pm. Do note that there is an extra tourist tax of EUR 2 to enter Kotor Old Town.

Rosa (tour guide) was very informative. Ride was nice and relaxing. Perast was super cute and quaint. I loved the Lady of the Rock church. The boat ride to Kotor was an added surprise. Old town Kotor was very touristy.

The tour was good and I saw new places that were stunningly beautiful. However the border was crowded and we spent at least an hour waiting in each direction. Half of the tour was spent in transit. I would suggest taking a smaller tour as there is a separate queue for your busses at the border. Not the tour company’s fault by any means but I would not have gone on a tour bus if I knew about the border.

Kotor Old Town was super. We had a pleasant walk around and a relatively inexpensive lunch. However, there are no public bathrooms in Perast, and I'm sure if we'd known about the sketchy, antiquated quadruple border crossings that held us in a bus for 2hrs with no bathroom available, we would have passed.

The Kotor Bay Day Trip from Dubrovnik with Boat Ride to Lady of the Rock exceeded all expectations. The tour organizer and guide were exceptional, providing a seamlessly organized and memorable experience. The guide's passion and knowledge brought the rich history of Kotor Bay to life, making the tour informative and engaging. The boat ride to Lady of the Rock was breathtaking, and the guide's commentary added depth to the journey. The visit to Lady of the Rock itself was awe-inspiring, with the guide's explanations creating a meaningful connection to the site's cultural heritage. Overall, I highly recommend this tour organizer and guide for an unforgettable Kotor Bay adventure.
