This was an interesting trip, we were the only people on it. We were given a time which was changed earlier in the morning which meant we ended up being really rushed so started a bit stressed. We weren't sure what to expect. Our driver was nice but there wasn't a guide for the trip so we were left to our own devices which we didn't mind. The Tiger Cave Temple was interesting, we were there for about an hour which was more than enough time. We didn't walk up the hill as it was so hot, we watched the monkeys and there were cafes to enjoy. We then went to the emerald pool. We opted for the longer walk which was a lovely and easy. The smaller walk was about 800m and the longer about 1600m. We saw the crystal pool which was so clear and bathed in the emerald pool. It was quite tricky to get in and out of as the rocks were very slippy, but there was a rope which you could use if you needed to. The hot springs were very hot. There was a walk down to the pools but you could get on a golf buggy - we used this to get back to the entrance and cost 20bht each. We were very hot and tired so missed the river and waterfall which we weren't aware was there.
Lunch wasn't provided but we were taken to a restaurant which was cheap and cheerful. We went to Krabi night market which was quite good. It was full of food stalls and then were taken back to our hotel. All in all it was a nice trip, would probably have given it 3.5 stars but that wasn't an option.
