The Tourist Information Center is your first stop as soon as you step into Kuala Lumpur! The main galleries containphotos and mapsof old KL and give some historical information. The showpiece exhibit is a hugescale modelof Kuala Lumpur together with anaudio-visual presentation. Currently there is an architectural award display filling some of the temporary exhibition space.Inside there is also atourist information counterwhere visitors can obtain details and maps on where to go and what to see in KL.

You can see theworkshopwhere ARCH's master craftsmen and women labor over their precision models. The bulk of the ground floor space is given over to agift shopwhere a wide range of ARCH products and other souvenirs can be purchased. While in the shop you can admire thecast iron columns and trussesused in the construction of this fine old building.
