LITERALLY THE WORST airport I've EVER dealt with! It would seriously take PAGES to list everything this place handled poorly, but let's TRY to keep it simple: Grab driver dropped me off at wrong terminal. There are two and they are NOT close together, you will need to take a ten minute bus which is MUCH harder to locate than it should be, Then, the check-in line literally took over an HOUR. Would have been a *major* problem, but they fixed it! By delaying my flight SEVEN HOURS 🤬 MANY lines and security checks later, I'm at my gate to Hanoi. Then, at the very last minute, as this mega-delayed plane was boarding, one of the officials noticed a VERY MINOR typo with my Vietnam visa- one VIETNAM WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR (VN review bomb also incoming lol). So I was ultimately DENIED boarding. And since this flight had already been delayed as much as humanly possible, it was TOO LATE to book a flight anywhere in Thailand. So I was LITERALLY TRAPPED in this god-forsaken airport overnight until I could fly to TL the next afternoon. Thankfully, they had a FAIRLY reasonably priced capsule hotel, which singlehandedly saved the day. As I type this, I have STILL yet to leave this airport because my flight to Chiang Mai was ALSO delayed 🤦‍♂️ Pray for me that I am finally able to escape! FWIW, flying into here was COMPLETELY fine. But if you have *any* shred of love for yourself, you will fly OUT of Penang instead 😅 Literally the third worst day of my life; And the fact it even COMPARES to losing my mother or almost losing my wife is just... unforgivable.

Date & Time 19th January 2023 about 0915 hours Flight MH 133 - Auckland Gate number C - 10 Thanks, the KAL airport interior facilities are excellent. But, I will never ever touch KLA airport again at least for a transit. The main reason was I had a bad experience of rude passenger handling by one of the airport staffs. One young guy at the boarding gate requested my passport to check. He was wearing office casual suit with a tie but no identity card displayed to identify who he is. Can I see your passport? Can you take the face mask out? Also your hat… He has taken 3 or 4 minutes to examine the passport and my physical appearance. Can you move few step out of the boarding gate? He used one electronic equipment to scan or read my passport. Still he was not satisfied. What is your full name? - I read the name letter by letter What is your address? From where are you coming? How many days were you there? What was the purpose of you travel? Where were you born? Can I see secondary identity? He has turned my passport page by page, the passport cover and stitches used to bind the pages. By this time, totally I was standing 8 or 10 minutes in front of him, I was losing my patience but I managed not to tell a single word against, to this young guy who was wearing eye lenses and examined me. Then another person who was wearing a uniform with the photo identity, attend my matter and he was satisfied with my passport and the secondary identification which is the driver license. End of the drama. My comments, Before this check-up this young guy didn’t introduce who he was, He did not have any visible identity worn. No polite communication instead giving orders to me [passenger] Technically he should understand, that the modern passport has new watermarks and electro technique to identify the passport holder. And Politeness is a human quality it cannot gain by education or a position that the person hold. Finally, my blame goes to KAL. Stupid customer service at KAL airport staff.

The driver was late for 15 mins. If you want to book through Viator, pls reserve more time when you make the booking. Or it is more friendly if you just call the taxi through hotel.

The service was on time and did its job, but there was only one functioning seat belt in the back, so only one of us could wear one. I place arriving safely above all else. this was an epic fail. There was a passenger (associated with the driver) in the front seat so my husband had to travel with no safety belt for the whole journey. We were not happy.

I found that airport to be clean and well maintained. Check in and security was fast. Multiple shops, restaurants and airport lounges. Signage could improve, there are a lot of signs, but they could be better designed and placed in better location.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (abbreviated in English: KLIA, IATA: KUL, ICAO: WMKK) is the largest airport in Malaysia and one of the busiest airports in Asia. The airport was built with a budget of up to US $ 3.5 billion and was inaugurated on June 27, 1998. [1] Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa designed this airport. The airport is 50 km from Kuala Lumpur. In 2009, the airport served 29.6 million passengers (lower than the expected 35 million). The airport has an air traffic control tower of 130 m high, the second highest of the air traffic towers (second only to the tower at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport) has two 60 m wide runways longer than 4,000 m, can serve 120 trips / hour. According to the airport plan, there will be 4 runways. The terminal capacity of the stage 2 to year is 35 million passengers / year and from 2008 to 2012 is 45 million passengers / year. Some problem here is : So difficult to find smoking room, not easy to charge phone and so many time security check.

Although we had an early departure, and were the only people in the (shared) van, it arrived within 5 mins of the appointed time and got us to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Mycket bra genomförd körning. I tid och ingen stress. Föraren var mycket trevlig och ville gärna berätta om staden och landet, så det blev som en kort sightseeing. Mycket uppskattat. Rekommenderas varmt.

We had requested pick up at 8.30am and I also spoke to a lady got confirmation via text but the driver was still there way to early and we had to rush. So it seems there was no communication between the office stuff and driver
