Starting in Reno, Nevada, this unique adventure allows travelers to easily experience the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival outside on the beach of Sand Harbor. The world-class nightly performances alternate between Shakespeare's Macbeth and Beehive: The 60s Musical. You and your friends will each enjoy a window seat in a captains chair. You will be picked up at your hotel starting at 4:00 pm and dropped off at the entrance of the festival with a bottle of California Wine in a tote to share. You will be ushered to your Lower Gallery seats. You can order a gourmet dinner, appetizers, and drinks. Outside food and drinks are permitted but please refrain from glassware. The performances start at 7:30 pm where you get to sit back in a woven chair with your feet in the sand, glass of wine in hand, as the sun sets over the lake and the stars decorate the sky and enjoy one of Lake Tahoes most unique professional performances. The shows end around 10:00 pm where we pick you up at the place where you were dropped off and take you back to your hotel around 11:00 pm.
As the temperatures drop into the low 50s at night, we strongly suggest bringing warm clothes as the entire event is outside. Please note that performances sell out so book early to guarantee a seat for this epic event.
