Great tour, Jeremy was very knowledgeable and my 12 year old enjoyed it too. right mix of talking and walking, hidden gems of the art deco movement.

I highly recommend the Art Deco and Architecture Tour! Jeremy is an experienced guide and he really mastered his subject. He shared his passion of architecture as well as providing details about the historical background. He answered all our questions and gave a detailed explanation. I learned a lot and had a great time!

Jeremy Wilcox is an excellent guide, guiding us on an informative and fascinating tour of midtown Manhattan's Art Deco architecture. He was well informed about each building and its features and history. He also answered any and all questions asked by members of our group, even questions not related to Art Nouveau, with deep knowledge. The tour worked well both for newbies (like me) and for architecture buffs. Highly recommended!

Our day was partly cloudy which offered wonderful viewing and not too hot. Our guide, Jeremy, was so knowledgeable and excited to show us the buildings and his passion. The pace was fine for all of us including my 80-year-old mother. Jeremy had a binder of close-up photos that he showed as a way to explain the details on very high buildings. Our group had 10 people, which was a perfect number and Jeremy kept us moving along at a reasonable pace. Wish I had remembered my hat, but otherwise a great experience.

Great tour - Jeremy took us to see amazing examples of art deco, both expected and unexpected buildings. He also brought the era to live with stories and put it into context of other styles. I highly recommend!

What an excellent tour! I loved it. Jeremy was a fantastic guide pointing out not only great gems of art deco architecture but also gave us full context of the genre among other architecture styles, pointed out points of interest you wouldn’t notice without the tour, and presented historical pictures so we had full appreciation of what we were seeing. I loved it as an architecture buff, and my friend who was just along for the experience thoroughly enjoyed it as well!

Quite educational. Perhaps a little long at 2.5 hours. Interior building architecture was a highlight.

I took this tour in mid-June and must say it was an excellent experience. The tour surpassed my expectations, leaving me with a deep appreciation for the architectural wonders that adorn the city. Our guide Jeremy Wilcox was very good. Unlike other tours, there was no unnecessary chit-chat or attempts at humor. Instead, his professional approach and razor-sharp delivery allowed the buildings themselves to take center stage, weaving a narrative that celebrated their beauty and historical significance. At the outset, he provided us with a captivating description of the range of styles that we might encounter on the walk from Beaux Arts to Art Nouveau, Art Deco to Streamline Moderne, Googie, and Modern. This introduction was not only enlightening and deepened my understanding and appreciation of these architectural treasures but also helped me to recognize the similarities between the Streamline Moderne buildings in my hometown of Mumbai and those we encountered on the tour. The quality of craftsmanship showcased by the 100-year-old buildings left me in awe. The enduring beauty of these masterpieces is a testament to the vision and talent of their creators. Great care has also been taken to preserve their splendor, which is as much a credit to their current owners as it is to the Landmarks Preservation Commission which is responsible for protecting New York City's architectural heritage. Jeremy's expertise shone throughout the tour as he shared captivating stories and intricate details about the buildings. His ability to provide the information in a concise and engaging manner was commendable. The tour never felt overwhelming or overwhelming with information, but rather struck the perfect balance, leaving me craving for more. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this walking tour of art deco buildings to anyone visiting New York. It is a wonderful opportunity to delve into the city's architectural heritage, appreciate the marvels of art deco, and gain a profound understanding of the different architectural styles that have shaped the city's skyline. This tour deserves nothing less than a five-star rating.

This was a fantastic introduction to Art Deco in New York and the city itself. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and showed great expertise in conveying information. The tour was conducted at just the right pace to give time for reflection and to be able to ask questions. We went inside several buildings that we would have missed had we been on our own. Our only regret was in doing this on the last day of our New York trip rather than the first, as this would have given us a much better insight into the development of New York and would have helped us appreciate the details of all the buildings we visited. . This is a very interesting tour and is for everyone not just art lovers.
