Kathy is a wealth of knowledge of all things Melbourne. We had a fantastic tour, the three hours flew by and we enjoyed our time with Kathy and her beautiful energy. Take notes of any tips you find interesting, all her fashion and food recommendations were excellent.

Rob was very knowledgeable. Would never have found this part of Melbourne on our own. Art was vibrant and he explained architecture styles.

Spectacular tour of Melbourne. I learned so much about the city and loved all the hidden alleyways and arcades. The street art is fabulous and I felt like I really gained an understanding and appreciation for the CBD which I would not have gotten left to just wander on my own. I know go down little lanes with a sense of confidence that it is OK to be there, and so appreciate all the cool little restaurants, cafes, and shops that are there to be discovered. Tour Guide Kathy was a true wealth of knowledge and her passion for history, Melbourne and teaching made her a spectacular docent of this super fun city. Highly recommend to anyone!

Kathy was an excellent guide, bringing the character of Melbourne to life. She was so knowledgeable about the history of the city. We particularly loved the street art. If you’re a bit short on time, this is a great way to get an overview of Melbourne. It’s such a walkable city you can see quite a bit in a relatively short amount of time.

Our tour with Kathy this afternoon was the best architectural tour I’ve been on. We’re from Chicago - a city known for its architecture - and have been on countless tours as we’ve traveled. This tour ticked all of the boxes: it was great introduction to the history and development of Melbourne, the street art in the lanes is fascinating and Kathy is very well informed. She kept us moving so we covered a lot of the historic Central Business District. My husband and I opted for the additional lunch at Mr. Tulk Cafe at the State Library and are glad we did. We continued to learn more about Melbourne and Australia as we chatted over yummy cafe fare. Even if you think you aren’t a tour person you should take this one!

Cathy was extremely informative and obviously loves what she does. She was also very respectful and courteous to both, us and the general public. A great experience, we would thoroughly recommend it.

From the minute Kathy met to our family group she made us feel so welcome. The tour was every thing we had hoped for and more. Her knowledge and passion for the City of Melbourne was evident as she led us around the hidden Laneway gems. We especially liked how Kathy wove her story of the city around the architecture, the art and the food finding a story to share with us of this beautiful place. Although I have visited Melbourne many times, I now have a much better appreciation of how the modern Melbourne came to be and to always look up for the wonderful story above us. The coffee at Brunetti's was delicious and the lunch at Mr Tulk's was a special celebration for my brother 60th birthday. Thank you Meltours and Kathy for a great tour.
