  • The tour was great! Lasted exactly how much they said, however they will put more emphasis on the snowmobile ride than the reindeer one. The reindeer ride is just a few minutes long, on a course that is like a track made by them inside the compound. delicious lunch.

  • This was an overall solid tour. Our head guide Heidi was extremely professional, and and so was everyone we came in contact with during the tour. The food was really excellent, meeting Santa Claus at the Reindeer farm rather than at the Village, with the queues was great, and the snowmobile ride was fun.

On the improvement side, a couple of points:

    - the Reindeer sleigh ride was far too short and impersonal - barely five minutes of going round and that was it. In this respect, I find that this part of the description of the tour is rather misleading
    - the time spent at the Santa village is very short, although that is made clear from the description. While there is not too much to do, I feel that having a couple of hours there would make more sense.

All in all, I would recommend this tour although it is still rather expensive, as everything else in this part of the world...

  • Friendly guide and good experience. Will be better if more time is given at the Santa Claus Village.

  • We had an amazing time on this trip, all the staff at Lapland Safaris were very friendly and welcoming.
The tour itself was incredible with breathtaking views in the wilderness whilst zipping through the trees on a snowmobile, the shaman at the reindeer farm was great fun and again very welcoming. Food was wonderful and of course the highlight of it all was having the opportunity to meet Santa himself.
Our tour guide Pasi was very knowledgeable on all subjects of the tour and helped make our time in Finland an experience we will never forget.
100 recommended, I cant say enough good things about this tour or the tour company

  • We came to their office at 9.30 as it said on the payment receipt. However we could have stayed in bed for 30 minutes as the guides came at 10 and showed us where to change into warm clothes. They had winter suites, mittens, balaclavas, hats and boots. It was very hectic in the changing rooms. It was not explained to us that the first section was clothes for children only. Me and my husband tried to put on snowsuits for our heights and could not figure out why they were so small. Only later we spotted snowsuits for the adults. We were given option to keep our own jackets on or take them off and only have snowsuits. As I had quite a thick jacket of my own I decided to take it off. Later I regretted it as it was warmer than the snowsuit supplied by the tour. It was not very clear if we had to change at all but I felt I had to as everyone was changing. We were then taken to another reindeer farm. The story-telling lady was very entertaining as well and reindeer rides were slightly longer. We were then invited to see Santa. Kids loved him but I thought he could have been a bit more enthusiastic :-) There was a snow slide outside, which was great as many children went on it and slid down on the plastic pieces. The lunch followed. It was very nice. I hinted the tour guides my son had birthday and they made a great effort of making him a small ice cream cake and brought it out with the candle and every-one sang Happy Birthday. Next stop was Snowmobiles. It was lovely, everyone had a great time. Quite a long way, maybe 5 K? People sat in two on each snowmobiles and switched half way. We then had 50 min to walk around Santa Village, which was plenty for us. We then came back to the office and got changed into our clothes. If the morning was not too hectic I would have given 5 stars to these tour, but I didn’t like the fact we were invited to come 30 min earlier and the way the changing clothes was organized.

  • The tour company was extremely organised. Made our experience special. The lady who runs the reindeer farm is breath taking and so full of Christmas cheer. All the tour guides were so friendly and accommodating. Great family day out. Thank you.

  • The snowmobiling was terrific
